Im sure everone in these forums knows of the whole take over the world GvG feature. xD
But as im completely new I dont know how that works, so, is it just like an NPC that you talk to and teleports you to a part in the game with guild bases?
Or are these bases actually part of the game, kind of like...everyone around can see it, or is it like a special GvG map?
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]If only deathnote was that simple...

the whole PW map is splitted into territories. U guild can bid on one of these territories(lvl3 ones first) once every week. If u successfully take it, u own the land n u get special features from the governor. the guildmaster of the guild will also get 10mill each week. First time getting a land requires a lot of team effort n #'s... lots of #'s(players). After u own the land, other guilds can bid on ur land every week and it'll be GvG. The GvG will be set on a scheduled date. When the war starts, u can enter the battefield in ur guilds base. the enemies will be on the other side. It'll be an all out war there. The offensive side will have to destroy the enemies crystal within 3 hours. The defensive side will either destroy enemy crystal or just stall for 3 hours.
TW is very competive and fun.
Also, only the guilds that r fighting can see the war. Outsides will only be able to see the notices who the victors.
o yeh, almost forgot to explain... um, when u bid on a neutral land, ur guild will have to kill all the monsters to claim the territory w/in 3 hours.

The World map is divided into territories (40+).

At a set time everyweek, you can bid to attack one of those territories.

When the bid time is over, the guild who bid the highest amount on a territory get the chance to attack it. The time the territorial war start is chosen by the server AI. 7 timeslots are possible for a TW to happen (so in the malaysia servers, they most always began at an hour unfitting for euripeans and north americans).

To enter a war, you need to speak to a teleporter NPC or a War Manager NPC. You'll be ported to a special instanced zone.

If the territory is owned by a guild, you'll fight against them to win the territory. The goal is to enter the enemy base and destroy a crystal inside, while at the same time preventing the enemy from destroying yours.

If no guild own a territory, you'll have a bunch of monsters and a boss to defeat to win the territory.

You'll have 3 hours to destroy the ennemy crystal/kill the boss.

You can read a more detailed guide here : http://asiapworld.com/pwforum/viewtopic.php?t=124

Yeah. Gonna be a cool, fun challenge. I'd love to see how this server turns out.

even if one guild takes all the lands, as long as they dont outbid with mule, it'll be fair for the server.

    Go Unlimted(too many caps =.=)

There are two level 1 territories on the map, Thousand Stream City & Ancient Dragon City. The criteria for permission to attack a level 1 territory include the stipulation that you do not already own one.
Thus is it impossible for one guild to own every land.

has it ever happened like one clan controled everything or something like there being 2 or 3 guilds that owned everthing and were unchallenged? cause that might be fun... oh do the territories ever reset?

On the Oracle server in PW-MY, there's one guild, Warlord, that owns a good chunk of the map for a long time. But there is one guild and probably a few others aimed at changing that. And guild territories do not reset.

I'm excited to join in on the TW action in the int version. :D Haha. Never actually been involved in one. Thanks splice and karmelia for the info. Maybe... if there isn't a guide already, someone could write one up to be stickied? That would be cool and help all of us newbs out.

in MY En Delphi, there are 3 guilds(Immortal, Espada,Legacy) that own all the lands (other than ADC/TSC which r not implemented yet). Immortals n Espadas r GB'ing legacy atm. Its really intense fighting so many big guilds.
However, smaller guilds in the server r too scared to even bid on the bigger guilds most probably cuz they often KoS(kill on sight) or outbid with mule.
Im not against having a small amounts of guilds owning most of the lands, but some guilds like immortal and espada r hogs. They wont give up their lands at any cost... ill tell u that. they play for business n not for having fun ^^.

Bullying smaller guilds to not attack by threatening to disrupt their zhen and miji with KOS wont happen on the pve server. As is the case on the Philipine pve server, I expect to see a lot more dynamics on the TW map. The pve server will be the place to be for *real* pvp as opposed to ganking and bullying.

PvE server will lack a lot of real actions though. The players would have to resort to duels, arena, and finally TW.
Duels r ok... not the same out in the open field though :).
Arena: good for organizing friendly fights.
TW: My god... this is no place for u to show off ur individual skill... this is a team effort and team event. If u start doing ur own hooligans w/o following orders... good luck winning wars.

I believe the "true PvPers" will be in the obvious PvP server. Pk wars will only get u better and better :)

Correction, 3 guilds that own almost all the lands:

Pure genius on her bid/counterbid & "simultaneous distraction wars" strategies.

Land then passed to Asperity, & now to ★☆DeMoN☆★.
