PerfectWorld International just a copy????

What will be new in PerfectWorld International? I mean something that isn't in PerfectWorld Malaysian. I created a high lvl char in MY so what is the point to move to International if there is nothing new. I think that many people will agree with me since I guess about 70% of people coming to PW International used to play MY before. And if there is nothing new they will all be disappointed and go back to MY.

I am just asking if it is worth it to create a char and play International PW or should I just continue with MY.
Will there be anything new and exciteing or will it be just a copy of MY?

    Less lag?

    Better customer service?

    Uncorrupted GMs?

    And I bet this version will be more up to date than the malaysian too.

    New features of PWI that I'm looking forward to:
    - Pressing buttons actually leads to your character casting skills.
    - Clicking somewhere means your character will move there in a reasonable timeframe.
    - Monsters will no longer have the ability to warp on top of you or shoot you after they die.
    - Targetting yourself and healing in PvP doesn't cause your enemy to be healed instead.
    - Being Malaysian doesn't allow you to exploit game flaws at leisure.

    PW doesnt lag in my PC and I havent needed Customer Service. Maybe there is small advantages but when you have lvl 100 char I dont think that any one wants to change to a new game with just better customer service. I asked if there is any new stuff in game, not about customer service.
    If that is the only new stuff we get in the game then I won't change to International
    and I think that many people will agree with me.

    I have none of those problems which you wrote down. PW MY is working well for me and I still don't see any reason to change to International.
    People with a bad PC can change if they want, but those with a normal working PC will still continue with MY.

    Personnally, I never expected to see a big exodus from MY-EN to here anyway.

    Players who invested a substantial sum of money will stay there.

    Players with high level chars will most likely stay there.

    From my current guild in MY-EN, maybe 2 or 3 are considering moving here.

    Where this server will hurt them most is in attracting the fresh new players from Americas and Europe.

    And the PC have nothing to do with it. It's the way your connection is routed to the malaysian server that matter the most.

    As of right now, there's been no official announcement of what will be available but we can assume that they will be managing this International server in a more discrete manner. MY-EN lacked many things: the server specs were unable to kindle to the sheer numbers that make up its populace so it induces heavy lag, lack of service to its populace in regards to any illegal activities (exploiting, botting, etc.), and the people that controlled the innerworkings of the server were so corrupt with their powers that it was unbearable.

    True, there are many players that are coming to PW-INT that were from MY-EN or any other available PW servers but they intend to see the game under management of those that will do it and the players a great service. The game is free and for a free game, it is obviously better than games that have monthly subscriptions. It's not another MY and hopefully it will live to its name, a Perfect World. Just be patient and give it a try when the time comes.

    Removed the last line, however Quoted for Truth.

    I myself am an avid PvPer. I have been an open world PvPer since the 90s. If you are a hardcore PvPer you know that milliseconds of lag make or break battles. Our staff is composed of hardcore gamers of various degrees and genres, we understand lag sucks, and will do the best we can to bring you guys the best service possible. ;)

    having a good pc has nothing to do with the server lag. The internet connection and the location of the server do.

    As for PW-MY there was, correction IS a lot of server lag because the internet company in Malaysia is a monopoly and has some DNS issues which it didn't bother to solve. I'm not sure if they actually got down to fixing it but people are still experiencing lag from Europe and America.

    How much ping do you get on PW-MY nounours? I usually got 300 in the beginning then usually on the 400's. You can't play PW to its full potential like that especially when you're fighting other people who ping at 50's

    I don't see how anyone wouldn't want good customer service. For example your account gets **** what are you going to do ? In PW-MY they just ignore you. What happened if you buy cubi right before server maintanence, you lose your cubi gold, what does PW-MY management do, NOTHING. So you see customer service is a very important tool for games to run successfully

    Perfect Worl is the same game everywhere there are servers.

    Some are more advanced in their versions than others. Some have features activated while they are not on others.

    Where will this one stand as far as what is activated, we'll have to wait offcicial announcements or closed beta opening to see.

    To be honest with you nounours. No words that anyone types to you on these boards are going to convince you that our service is better than MY. Just try PWI when beta starts, and make your own decision on whether or not its better.

    After reading what you wrote,my friend I think there will be a big suprice waiting for us. Otherwise you wouldn't ask me to download PWI. :D

    There will be 2 type of server (PvP and PvE), which is already a change from MY-EN, with it's PvP-only servers.

    I remember someone from Shades having a problem with the cash shop. It's no secret a lot of the cash shop was ****ED up for a long time. Mislabeled items, wrong descriptions, etc. Well this Shades member...Ika I think it was, wanted to buy a 10 pack of...something that was 50 cubi-coins each. It was labelled as like 60 cubigold on the cash shop. He assumed it was a mislabel and bought it, but to his surprise, instead of taking 5 cubi-gold, IT TOOK THE 60!

    And the GMs didn't care. They were probably laughing at him and thanking him for lunch. He never got his cubis back.

    I'd rather prefer it to be just like MY-EN. Everything about the game captivated me.

    If they removed dolls though, I wouldn't mind ;P.

    I would be happy if they only fixed the monthly horse races bug,because the skill lag will be gone.

    prolly the 10-packs of ether barrier stone (or whatever) that were incorrectly labelled as 45 cubi (as opposed to 4.5 cubi since they were 0.5 for one) - unfortunately at least one person found to their horrer that they were charged the full 45 cubi for what would have cost them just 5 cubi if they had bought the item as singles

    There is already 2345345353 of these threads. Please browse through the forums and read them before posting. Also this is the SAME game as PW-MY so don't expect DRASTIC changes.

    cash shop is better for this version, hopefully it works for me cause it didn't in maylasian.
