Yeah, damn right. Not even released and I'm talking about it. Almost all international like Failohan made their cash shop unbalanced and somewhat rigged + super expensive. What are your plans for such a great game on the cash shop? Going to make them somewhat too beneficial+ expensive? It's amazing how such good MMOs goes down like trash due to Item Mall. Of course, I hope you guys aren't using GGuard(Basically using no protection) and care less about bots.

Thanks in advance, GMs =)

The item mall is probably comparable to the item malls in the other versions of the game. Which would be perfectly fine for me. The item mall never seemed game-breaking for the people who were playing free, though some of the items were a bit enticing...like special mounts and fashions. But overall, nothing really broke the game, at least on the Malaysian server.

Things change, that's like saying in Japanese versions things were 50 cents and in International version things are 6 dollars. If the price/item are the same as Malaysian server then w/e, okay.

Couldnt agree with you more I play the MY version and havent found anything wrong with it so far granted Im paying through the teeth in RL cash due to being in New Zealand and only being able to purchase via paybycash but cant complain otherwise.

Different company have different ideas, they price things differently and can add any unbalance item at anytime.

i think it's understandable if the item mall is too expensive. let's say i play wf and i want some nice aviationa and pet ride and stuff, i would have to buy it from item mall. now if it's too expensive, i wouldn't spend my money on it at all and then i would end up getting bored and tired cuz the distance i have to run in the game and the speed i'm running~~~slow~~~~ and then i would just give it up! no doubt! it happened to me on the other games with the same problem:(

Well, actually. I don't care as much on Item malls, just hacks and bots =) They ruin the game basically.

Yup. Judging by the amazing attitude of the mods and admins, though, I doubt bots and hacks are going to be nearly as numerous as they are in MYEN.

True that. However, the thing is - bots are numerous in most games... and it's hard to get rid a lot of them since they just keep coming back, so let's hope that there will be minimal amount of bots here! :)

You can very well play this game without using the cash shop.

As for comparing 2 different version, it's pointless.

MY-EN had higher priced item than it's Japanese counterparts.

    But...

I could buy 100 cash shop currency unit for 31$ in the MY-EN version, while the same would cost me $94 on the Japanese server....

Most of the questions in this thread have been already answered (partially even by GMs) in older threads, for example the bot issue.

    No, you can't.
Hierograms are the most imballanced item in any cash shop, ever. Practical invulnerability for a high-hp class and unlimited mana? Yesplz. A high level group can't down any boss unless the tank has a hp hierogram and one of the priests has a mp one (the other one 'can' have potions instead, but let's be serious, who could afford that). High level aoe parties need mp hierograms for pretty much everyone (priest for bubble, archer for arrow rain, everyone else for whatever they do) and hp ones to ensure they don't die from zerging 23423 mobs. Yes, you could buy them from other players, but unless you're a brilliant trader(read: scammer), you won't keep up with gear, consumable AND cash shop costs out of your drops alone. Also, replacement dolls (no item/xp loss), crafting material available in unlimited quantities (enjoy spending hours running around and digging mats, while little Timmy is sapping his mother's credit card and chucking out 3 stars faster than a robotic assembly plant.

If you don't intend to pay for the game, it will become a chore, and you will not be able to compete. Unless you play a werefox/venomancer, but they have their own problems (can't get an aoe party, enjoy killing 5000 mobs 1v1 to ding).

item mail is ok untill ingame economy is balanced...

i hope this server dont include pw$ system because hackers/botter company as offgamers would ruin economy in short time buying all ingame cash item for huge ammount of gold(illegit).

on pw my exist a real contract with offgamers and ingame cubi is worth 400k (1)

on cn server(its up from 2 years while my is up from 1 year) ingame cubi is worth 200k(1)

hHope GM's perm ban who buy/sell gold for real money and who sell/buy accounts.i known some GM's are from flyff so i'm sure they will do a great work..

    What are Hierograms?

Hierograms are borderline hax consumables. They have a charge of hp/mp, let's say 320,000. Every time your health drops beyond 50%, or your mana drops below 75%, they heal your hp, respectively mp to full, by substracting it from their charge and adding it to your character's pool. Then they have a cooldown of 10 seconds for hp, 5 seconds for mp during which they can't activate.

Basically every 10 seconds you heal to full as long as you have enough real money to keep buying them as they burn out. Without them you obviously can't PvP and you'll be terrible at PvE.

So basically with Hierograms you have a large advantage over people who dont use them.

I played with a cleric till lvl 50 and didn't need any hierogram.
It's all about how well you manage your resources.

Of course it's easier with a hiero, but that's what item mall is for.

I agree that you kinda need hiero for that cleric spell that drain 500mp/5sec, though.

Yes, there is no potion that can keep up with the array's mana consumption. It's either hierograms or no AoE party.

AOE as in Area of Effect or is it something else in this case? Also what does it mean AoE party... is it a party that destroys eerything in its path or something?

Yes you can, you'll only level slower than a plyer who does.

Which is basically what the cash shop purpose is.

AoE party is borderline botting while making XP.

Everyone except the lurers put something on their skill shortcuts keys and go away until their hiero are expended.

Not just slower, incredibly slower. Mindcrushing slower. And at the end of the day, even if you managed to level without hierograms you won't be able to enjoy PvP as your character will be killed by people 10-20 levels below you, with no skill, yet equiped with hierograms and other cash shop perks. If we are to take the literal meaning of the word, yes you 'can' go without. But why, oh why would anyone put himself through such a hell for no rewards at all.

As for the AoE parties, they are basically parties of a priest and 5 damage dealers specialised in area of effect skills (archers/blademasters). The priest uses a chanelled spell that consumes 500 mana every 5 seconds to protect everyone from 50% of the damage received and heal them for a bit every tick. The damage dealers run around, gather a huge group of monsters and kill them at the same time by concentrating area of effect skills on them. This isn't possible without hierograms and experience scrolls, and it's the fastest way of levelling. And by the fastest, I mean the only way that you can put up with the grind past 65, unless you are a **** or a Venomancer. Or do daily quests.

    I don't indulge into PvP
and it's the fastest way of levelling.

Sometimes there are fastest ways than AoE to level.

And you got there without using hierograms? Never used arrays in HH or FBs? Braved boss AoEs on healing potions alone? If that's true, you're the most hardcore person I've ever met, hats off to you.

Not just PvP, what about TW then? If you got to that level and just 1v1 mobs without joining any sort of event, grats on wasting your life on meaningless numbers.
    karmelia wrote: »

Yes such as DQ, which is insanely expensive and can only be managed by people who, gasp, sold cash shop items for ingame gold.
