Can't launch or patch PWI after clean install

I bought a larger HD for my laptop and so have had to reinstall Windows and everything else from scratch. When I have come to install Arc + PW, I downloaded and installed Arc and can log in fine. From here I downloaded PWI which seems to have worked, but when I try to launch the game I get "The Application was unable to start correctly". I cannot even use the Repair option as this does the same.

I sent a ticket about this too, but of course just got the standard reply like make sure drivers are up to date (which is difficult now we can't use DriverEasy) and uninstall and reinstall Arc (which I already did once). So maybe somehere knows an actual solution

#2 there fixed it, so there's missing C++ runtimes that Arc/PWI needs but it isn't installing it.

In case this helps anyone else in future.

You can save a copy of the entire pwi folder on a usb drive and if you reinstall windows or transfer to another pc u can just copy the whole thing there. Run elementclient once from the pwi folder and it will auto register itself in arc
