So hard to buy gold

There's a lot of things I could complain about the current state of the game, but by far the most annoying is how difficult it is to find people to sell you gold. Its not difficult to earn coins in game with some effort, but so many things we need can't be bought with coins and only with gold, so all day all you see on WC is people saying "WTB gold". Its so rare to see someone actually WC that they're *selling* gold. I've been a week now just trying to buy 40 gold. I don't mind being patient, I don't mind burning through teles, but its just so frustrating and feels like such a lost cause.
I know the devs won't agree with my suggestion, or probably even read it, but really it would help the game so much if there was just an NPC that sold gold for coins. To be clear I am not talking about something like the old AH where one player deposits gold into it and then another player withdraws it and pays coins, since this still means the gold has to have come from somewhere (i.e. someone somewhere up the line has to have charged real money to "produce" that gold), and the coins still exist, just passed onto a different player. I mean an option where you can just trade at some fixed rate of say 20m coins and the 20m coins disappear and 1 gold appears, and there is an infinite supply.
There would be so much more incentive for more people to play and be more active if we could actually earn and buy the things we want this way.

PWI finally got rid of most of the farmer bots, i doub they would give out gold for coins and have th egaem flooded with bots again. Plus i dont think they would ever impliment something that would trade game coins for gold since gold is the only way they earn real money.
If the game was subscription based or they pushed a lot of ads in game then maybe.0 -
Gold is tradeable. Any system you can imagine, even if there are limits per character, or per day, or whatever... is abusable. You don't really appreciate the size of coin piles some players have stocked up I think.
The underlying issue with gold shortage is players aren't incentivized to turn their real money into in-game gold unless we see REAL evidence from the publisher of PWI that they... actually intend to keep supporting the game. That means real updates, and real communication. So its quite understandable that gold is hard to come by; people just aren't charging atm. It's all on PWI to do something before players will start charging again.0 -

Hopefully the publisher will start showing interested in supporting the game again, it's sad to see to see the state of the game right now.Post edited by karumonix#8305 on0

Do you really think they would implement this system in the game? Are we playing the same game or can't you see that week after week the only announcement they make is a change of boutique? Just gold farms every week like we're cash cows...PWI is so dead even the whales have abandoned it,
a game without advertisements and without incentives and attractions for new players where the publisher doesn't care who has been playing for more than 10 years...it doesn't make sense to insist on this0
