Yer, they are but some things are not working correctly. They have stated they will not run an event that don't work. Rightly so.

They are working on things is all I have been told.

Yeah but only the last dragon race was not working. Most part worked, if you don't consider the wrong expiration dates on the items used in that event. And this year it gives a +12 orb. Next year would give the level 9 glyph again. Next year also has different daily rewards from the Dawnglory dragon, It acts like a login event that counts down with a timer, just with much better rewards than the login event we got.

Just curious, if that response meant, that they gave up on running it this year, or plan to run it, when they have fixed it. Cause if they gave up, that puts some people in an awkward place, as there is a fashion set from the Dawn Dragon in Dawnglory, that gives a login event, where you have to stay logged in for some time, to receive your reward daily. And the fashion is one of the rewards that counts in the codex. The only option to encounter them fair in that case is, to put this fashion then in a compensation code, for this and the other rewards (exp, vitae, event gold x100, bell of garment x1, royal glow fan x1, dragontamer-lasso x1, celestial infant stone x5, war avatar chests A,B,S, Nebula dust orbs x14) it would have given. Just pretending like it never existed, is not fair to the people who are loyal to the game. I hope the chinese dev's approve with this idea, if the initial event doesn't work.

Still I'd prefer the event itself, as it is a fun activity to do and it feels rewarding, so I'd love to see it again.

Well they don't have to run an event to make players happy. They could simply give free code that contain rewards for example lv9 glyph, infant pills, event gold, mount/flyer/fash item and so on . Such generous code would make everyone happy.
