what does adding spirit to your toon do to overall stats

All info about spirit you find here

In PvP roughly 10 spirit is 1% more damage and 1% less damage taken.
In PvE spirit is 4 times less effective so 40 spirit is 1% more damage and 1% less damage taken. All monsters have 0 spirit.

Oh no credits to me for the damage page at all haha, that is one of the things I have no clue about in the game that page was mostly done by Asterelle I believe.
