transmogrification on weapons

There are quite a few weapons in game that look amazing, but a lot of them aren't viable to use due to other weapons outperforming or being a better weapon for a certain class. Being able to transmogrify weapons and give them the look of other weapons would be great, I know there's fashion weapons but I personally don't feel they look better than some other weapons obtainable in game. Maybe it could work by allowing people to slot normal weapons into the fashion weapon slot, or maybe just a transmogrification prosses or even just a simple process of turning a weapon into a fashion weapon, it wouldn't have any cool effect added or anything, just a change of looks.
