how is the spirit in pvp calculated

in theory from what i saw it says that every 10 spirit a person have over the other one they get 1% dmg and 1% def. other people however say that once you pass like 2500 spirit , spirit is not as effective . so can somebody please clarify the things for me?

    PvP Spirit Damage = (1,000 + Attacker Spirit) / (1,000 + Target Spirit)
    damage dealt = raw damage dealt * (PVP Spirit Damage Amplification)

    well if you take it like that and attacker got 3500 spirit and defender 2500 spirit the total would be 1.85 so does that mean the dmg is amplified to like double and 85%??

    PVP Spirit Damage = (1,000 + 3500) / (1,000 + 2500)
    = (4500) / (3500)
    = 1.285

    damage dealt = raw damage dealt * (1.285)

    Therefore;
    IF raw damage dealt = 1,000
    damage dealt = (1,000 * 1.285)
    = 1,285

    IF raw damage dealt = 10,000
    damage dealt = (10,000 * 1.285)
    = 12,857

    i see so 1000 spirit difference is not that huge if the defense and other stuff are good

    No it is a simple matter of diminishing returns. Ok lets compare two situations where two players differ by 1000 spirit and see how higher base spirit for everybody reduces spirit's efficacy.

    Situation 1:
    Player A = 0 spirit
    Player B = 1000 spirit
    formula: (1000+1000)/(1000+0) = 2000/1000 = 2.00
    So: Player B does 2x as much dmg to player A. A 1000 dmg hit will be 2000 instead, etc.

    Situation 2 (representative of endgame ppl vs super endgame):
    Player A = 3000 spirit
    Player B = 4000 spirit
    formula: (1000+4000)/(1000+3000) = 5000/4000 = 1.20
    So: Player B gets 1.20 dmg bonus to player A. A 1000 dmg hit will be 1200 instead.

    1000 spirit separates the players in each case but because the base spirit is so much higher in situation 2, the additional dmg spirit grants is heavily reduced.

    Situation 3 (just for lols)
    Player A = 10,000 spirit
    Player B = 11,000 spirit
    formula: (1000+11000)/(1000+10000) = 12000/11000 = 1.09
    So: Player B gets 1.09 bonus to player A. A 1000 dmg hit will be only 1090 instead, barely any increase for having a whole 1000 extra spirit, because the base spirit of both players is so high.

    This clear things up?

    About Spirit , for ppl who not do PvP , have no use of Spirit , so why do quest for give spirit , a solution can be let spirit work for + vit or mag or str , dex if not go PvP , that will give all a fair play for do quest that give spirit , otherwise many have no use of Spirit who not do PvP but only PvE , why why why why , by talk about Let spirit work for Vit or Mag or Str or Dex , is about what each player want of their Spirit , not all Toon is build same way , so PWI could make it Fair if player chose not go PvP , they can free chose what use Spirit for , Vit or Mag or Str or Dex , a value of Vit or Mag or Str or Dex could be 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 , of 100 per Spirit or 200 per spirit so if you have 500 spirit and 100 spirit can give 5 Vit or 5 Mag or 5 Str or 5 Dex , this is only a example and a idea
    And if ppl chose later go PvP , we can chose to redirect our Spirit to full use of it in battle , mabye via an item from Boutique FOR CHEAP ofcourse 1-2 gold or 50 silver B)

    and dont tell Spirit is useable for PvE lol

    "Give me an answer, but not the actual answer!" lol Yes, spirit is already useable in PVE. Every 100 = 1 attack level and 1 defense level for PVE.
