Dragon Quest Reward Items -- Status

Okay I did some sleuthing and found out that PWI implemented a Dragon Points systems but the link to that is dysfunctional and the rest of the articles I can find seem to be rather old as well. So as of 2019-03-01 what is the status of this? Is the Dragon Point system still in play? Or has that been done away with? If it is still in play -- where can it be found?

Inactive, PWE pulled this a long time ago with a we will be putting in a new system soon.

As I said this was a long time ago and a lot of hope for this was lost.
