Phys/ Mag Penetration

I have both double phys and mag pen on my chart and opted to go for double mag pen on fates, i could get all on fate but the other stats in would rather keep on fate. i had phys pen on fate before but alot of the damage I do are elemental anyways and the damage from autos are.. eh which is why i decided to go for ma pen
I was just wondering what everyone else generally prefers
