Are the time changes really necessary in our day and age?

Its being discussed in the EU at the moment to scrap this. So its kinda interesting to see what people think.

    Really am not sure if needed. But, if the faction bases lose everything again and are expected to pay to get it up and running even if not their fault do to the time changes. NO
