Manufacturing Skills

Is there a bug or am I just not finding where to learn the skills? They show up in my skill list when I open E but are grayed out and are 0/10 levels and I did the pre-requisite quests for them but didn't receive skill books and my elder doesn't have anything for me to learn either.

I'm a returning player so I may have forgotten something I suppose.

They did change the level for manufacturing from 5 to 28, so that might be affecting why you can't learn them perhaps. Also, try looking at the Bookmerchant to see if they have any quests to repurchase the skill books - it will cost 20,000 coins for each book I think. You can find a Bookmerchant in Etherblade City at 429, 880.

If there is no quest to buy the skill books then that may be a problem since that would either mean you haven't done the quests, or you did the old quests and didn't use the skill books.

Though...you said you're seeing 0/10 levels? Or is it showing blank beside each manufacturing level? 0/10 is just the EXP required to make the next level which requires you to manufacture some stuff. Just making sure to cover all bases here so sorry if that seems like a bit of a silly question.

It's the new level cap to 28 then. Oh gosh I was freaking out. The guides I looked up said level 4! Thank you!

A lot of guides may be out of date. Worth checking our wiki as this is kept up to date by our players.
