if i used to play between 2008-2010 and just recently started thinking of comming back into PWI since i was cut off from gaming since then is there a way to get my old characters back on my account since now all the old servers aren't here anymore ?

They merged the servers so your characters should be on one of them. You can try checking this news post here to see which server your characters might be on. If you're not sure just check all servers.

If you can't find them, PWI doesn't delete old characters so there may be a chance something happened to your account while you weren't playing, if someone had access to your account or something. You might need to send in a support ticket in that case to find out, but you'll probably also need to provide some details to prove you're the owner of the account.

A little off-topic though, it may not hurt to start over depending on how far you got with your characters. Nowadays PWI is a pretty different game and a lot of changes have been made over the years.
