Noob class choice

Hi guys! I have not played PWI since the old days when it was just untamed, human, and elf. whats a good class these days to play through the game, i like soloing quests i dont want to need a party all the time. I like magic and swords, haha, is there a tougher magic class or stronger tank class? thanks in advance!

Duckblade is a lot of fun. Seekers are kinda a mix of magic, sword and tank. They're fun too. I like my Duckblade the most though.​​

PWI has refactored tutorial and added the race Nightshade.
If your favor is the focus on magic classes, I would recommend stormbringer.
