Client randomly closes since last content update

Twice today I've had the PW client just randomly close - its not a disconnect, no "bug report" window comes up, it just closes itself and that's that. I thought it was just me until I world chatted about it and had several others pm me back saying they're getting the same thing happen multiple times.

No idea what's causing this, but so far (to me at least) its only happened while in Archosaur city. Hasn't happened to me yet when in isolated areas or in instances. Its only since the latest content update.

Update: Nevermind, just had it happen again, this time in Primal world just hanging out at entrance to FSP and there's not even any other players around.

I have also had this a 3 times over the weekend. I know of a few others on Et experiencing the same problem.

Its like the game minimizes the screen but when you check, there is nothing. The client isn't running when you check Task Manager either.

think this happen when ur computer overheating it closes programms in safety
i had it by several other things too besides pwi possible a windows 10 security feature

happen more on very hot days when pc (or laptop in my case) feels extremly hot on top

It has happened to me two times, I thought it was just my old 2007 system doing it to me, and no, mine does not shut down programs if it gets too hot, it not some dang laptop, is it a full size desk system, game ju8st closes, no warning, no lag, here one second, gone the next.

been happening to me too have to use task mananger to close arc then close task manger then click on client when it pops up i use tm to close it then i can restart arc without getting server error message

I’ve had it too but it’s almost always after teleporting from an instance to main map or visa versa
