Best solo class?

So it was quite some time ago I played pwi, and I played a venomancer, I quite liked it.
I've missed having an mmo to play so I was pondering making a char and play some when I feel like it, so enothing hardcore, just maybe craft things, kill monsters and yah, the overall thing.
So what solo class would be fitting for this? (PvE, never been a PvP fan)
I'll probably play maybe a few days a week, so I'll probably not join a guild, but maybe a party for dungeons (?) once I know how to do lol

Stick with veno, its the easiest class to play for PvE pretty much. You should be able to solo most of your stuff with pet tanking, for dungeon content you are just expected to purge if the boss has buff(s) and amp it for more dmg. And venos are always wanted in basic PvE squads so you shouldnt have too many issues finding squads if you end up wanting to do that content.0

In the current meta it doesn't matter what you play as long as said toon is R9 or G16 with Warsoul weapon
The highest classes in demand ATM are still veno seeker and BM sine you need all three for most endgame dungeons.
But,this is pwi so as long as you dump cash into it play whatever you want.0 -
Nah, not gonna pay anything :P I just wanna relax-play.
What is R6 and G16?0 -

What is R6 and G16?
R9 is the best rank gear in game - basically the best cash shop gear. G16 is the best farmable gear in game - basically what ppl who cant afford to get r9 roll with.0 -
solo classes, without dumping cash
veno, if you can find someone selling a boutique pet,
stormbringer, these ones are broken in pve, (duskblades are broken in pvp)
the only ime ive ever died in pve as a storm, was due to lag,0 -
Hello! I recommend staying as a Venomancer for these reasons:
1. Pet Tanking - If you are careful and patient, you will rarely die as a Venomancer. Your pets will take the hits for you. Seeing as you want to be casual, you don't really need Boutique pets either. You can build an excellent tank pet for ~5-6mil in-game coins, which will not surpass the best Boutique tanking pet, but it will be pretty close. I'll give you more information about this if you decide to stick to Venomancer (I don't want to make this post unnecessarily long). Pets will allow you to solo a lot of content, and with proper pets you can even solo a good number of bosses.
2. Cheap class in terms of resources - Venomancers have skills to restore their HP and Mana without the use of potions. As a more casual player, you will probably not consume potions as much (at least not when playing solo). With the pet tanking for you, you'll also have low gear repair costs. This will help you save coins at a better rate than other classes.
3. Wanted in dungeons - Venomancers are generally wanted in dungeons so you won't have trouble being accepted in squads. Venomancers can lure single monsters out of groups (great for low level squads who can't handle too much) or use debuff skills to make killing bosses faster. In most cases, people will probably not care too much about your gear either, so you won't have to worry too much about "catching up" in order to join dungeon squads. Endgame dungeons will be a little different, but in any case you won't be required to have anything more the gear you can farm for free. Anything more than that is for the serious endgame squads or just greedy people.
I think there are some PvE factions around that would gladly accept you as a member, even if you can't play every day.0 -
You should play whatever you want. There is always pros and cons for each instance for each class.
Venomancer isnt a bad choice. However their aoe skills isnt great, which mean if you are into soloing dungeons where theres a lot of mob groups, youll have to take it way slower than forexample a seeker or bm would do.
Stormbringer is also mentioned and i agree with that. Especially on my server, they are wanted in every squad as long you learnt your ultimate skill, which should be affordable with a bit of work. They are super chill on open world due to walk while casting. Soloing dungeons however requires a little bit more gear if the bosses are ranged, it is a squisy class afterall. They have great DD and aoe skills.
Both seeker and bm are really good (especially seeker) for aoe and cleaning dungeons with a lot of mobs as long they have bloodpaint, however seekers may take a little longer to kill bosses. Both are highly wanted in squads due to their debuffs. Seeker needs a little work on their defense levels to have stronger debuffs, but usually youll be fine with even the lowest gear. Normally i wouldnt pick these two classes if you only play one, but could be a great 2nd character.
Assassins are also known for their solo abilities. They have great damage and good at killing bosses. Though like the veno, they lack aoe, but still does stuff faster than the veno as long their gear allow. Assassins are mostly wanted in squads due to high damage so they would want your gear to be good, but they still have a good debuff so you can get away with lower gear sometimes too if rest of the squad have high dd.
Duskblade is actually pretty good solo class as well. They have alright aoe damage, high dps for bosses, and often taken to squads for their squad buff (increase pve damage). They can be a bit squisy but you should manage as long you have bloodpaint, which should never be a problem for a duskblade as you can copy it past lv79 from assassins.
Overall i feel veno is the best class to solo early game, but duskblade is really close due to their high early-game damage (i lvled these two classes along eachother, the damage difference is huge). Veno is super cheap to play, will continuesly be cheap, and always be wanted. Duskblade you may want to put a little extra effort into before going into squads and solo harder stuff.
Stormbringer is also decent early game and youll mostly have an easy time. Before farming instances you may need to put a little effort into your gear.
Assassins are not that great early game, but scales really really well with gear. Assassins becomes noticeable stronger for each upgrade you do.
Blademaster and seeker are alright for early game, but great for dungeons and squad instances at lv100+ rebirth.
If you ever want to start pvp, veno and sb are great on low gear in larger scale pvp. Duskblade need some gear, especially if its larger scale. They can manage on low gear in 1v1. Assassins need gear, but as mentioned they scale very well with their gear, and they can become very strong.
Bm and seekers are a must to have high gear.
Ill actually recommend start playing two classes at the same time, so they can assist eachother and cover eachothers cons.0 -
Frankly, I'd try a mystic. The pets are for assist rather than for primary DD/tanking, but they are strong; pets don't require pet food; easier to pull with mystic pets; have a rez buff and heals; and the pets go everywhere (air, land, water), unlike the nonevolved or newer legendary veno pets.
As an example, with just the in-game lvl 40 royal gear - my lvl 53 mystic solo'd virridis stormhorn -- that boss you get the same time you get jewelscalen in town of arrivals area. Not something I'd have ever tried in the old days.
While I like my veno, and love my stormbringer, the mystic may also be a good option for a casual player.

I would say Mystic or Veno.
Mystic can heal its self and pets are not tanks but are able to handle most things. No need to Lv pets they Lv with you. ETC
Tho Veno also has some interesting opportunities.
Comes down to preference TBH.
To be fair it dont matter to much, Tho you dont want to find a guild sometimes its not a bad thing to have the extra advise and support around.
Good Luck!0 -
Thanks for the advice guys!
Yeah I'd probably try to find a newbie.friendly guild if so ^^
Stormbringer does sound instersting, as does mystic. Veno was my fave when I tried
the game, so we'll see what I choose.0
