Hi anyone know how to make a fac icon, transparent and right size to send as an icon in PWI.. I've gotten the size thing sorted, but not sure how to make transparent so no stupid white background

HALP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pwease

    You need to put a transparent layer on it.

    However Im aware that all the Logos that had this dont work at the moment. We have never been told why if their is even a reason.

    For now I would just suggest a blending background.

    From experience, simply put, you need to disregard their instructions. Here is instructions from the faction icon page:
    3)The BMP file needs to be saved in 24-bit for the specifically allowed color depth.

    A 24bit BMP file does not support transparencies, though, which is why you get a white/black background. What they should ask for is a 32bit BMP which will support the transparency. (24bit color mode plus an 8bit transparancy)

    If you already submitted your icon and got the white background, simply take the same file, recreate the transparency and ensure you have an alpha channel in your image editor, export as 32bit BMP and resubmit.
