Faction bank?

Ive heard about of faction's bank before but i dont know if there's actually more free space to hold stuff. A few friends and I are considering just making a small faction to get more bank space and make trading easier.

Also, is there any fee or penalty for joining or leaving a faction?

    The factions I have known have usually had a "faction bank." It was only an alt, made by faction leader, to hold some money an some goods for faction.

    There is no fee to join a faction, unless the faction leader has decided there should be, I haven't joined any faction like that myself, and never heard of one who practises this. Similarly there is no fee to leave. One exception is if faction has a base. When leaving the faction you loose the points you have in the base, points you get from doing base quests. these points can be used to buy goods in the base.
