Ultraviolet Dance Golden Glyph Broken

The golden glyphed ultraviolet dance says it will increase magic attack of equipment by 20% of player's hp with lvl 1-3 glyphs.
However after testing I see absolutely no damage change. Further my character screen shows no change in magic attack. I also tested without a weapon equipped to remove the random number generation to be sure and still no change.
There are also some description problems. The red glyph says reduces channelling time when in fact it reduces casting time.
The silver glyph says it increases magic attack and hp when it actually removes these abilities that UVD normally provides.
This is hugely disappointing, the only thing I was excited about for new cleric abilities was golden glyph UVD. The new attacks that disable our heals are weaker than unglyphed cyclone and serve no purpose. I'd rather cyclone dealing more damage and add a slowing ability. If these new attacks worked the way certain abilities like mark of weakness do through bless buffs and without waking from sleep then they'd be interesting, but sadly they do not. The damage effect added to sleep and immobilize can trigger purify proc, completely ruining a combo. I also expected these skills to go through bless buffs to mesh well with the cleric's kit and combos of seal of god + mark of weakness and carry on that theme, poor design. I think actually the new attacks say in the description they do wood/water damage. So basically new attacks we sacrifice our heals in order to deal less damage than a basic cyclone and gain the ability to bypass heart of steel genie skill. Can only see this useful in 1v1 a fraction of the time. Useless. Good job on the chromatic healing beam though, awesome.
Also green glyph on stream makes 30s cooldown? da hell?

Yea we got some cool new animations, but this really has no interesting impact on gameplay or strategy or playstyle for the new uvd damage abilities.0

Poor design? What, did you want a spammable attack that bypasses defense/sog and doesn't cancel sleep? I think that's asking for too much...cleric combo is already powerful enough, being able to spam attacks on someone who's immobilized/defenseless for 30+ seconds would be GG. Also, if you don't want sleep/silent seal to ruin your combo, just use a different glyph when fighting arcanes. The glyphs were designed in a way that allows you to easily swap them out and change them based on your surroundings (given that you are out of combat when you do so). The added dmg from those skills is so little, especially on arcanes, that it's probably neglectable.
Yes I agree the cleric skills didn't get a huge boost, and some still need to be tweaked to fit their description, but the way you wanted them to work is just broken imo.☆ Pixel ♥ Heart ☆ Etherblade ☆0 -

Call a mystic for that, the combo is pretty much as unfair as it gets, despite being easily telegraphed.
Also kind of dissappointed that golden glyph is broken for clerics. If that ever gets fixed and works with ult people will be begging for DD clerics .Post edited by dregenfox on0 -
Green Glyph for Stream reduces channeling. The Damage version still has the regular CD. I agree that it's weird that the skill gets such a massive CD increase for just a chan reduce...Welp. Took another skill instead =P
Clerics got nothing to complain about..especially not in 1v1. Now you can easily switch between UVD and normal mode..allowing for awesome combos and to keep yourself alive on a whole new level. I love it. Sure you dont get the HP and mattack increase..but who cares if you only have 6 seconds CD.
@dregenfox Cleric + Mystic + Duskblade (with purge weapon) squad in 3v3 and it's ultra GG. Cleric SoGs, db purges and Mystic kills within SoG and the enemy cant even use genie to stay alive. GG WP. Indeed. Or just let the DB purge and enemy can't activate genie..that should already be enough for 99% of all players in PWI to die. Aside from that combo...try killing such a team...you would have to focus each and every one of those classes with all 3 ppl of your team to get them killed (if they are tanky and have equal gears on max buffs) but gl with that when they support each other... 3 DBs could win if they are strong enough to kill each one alone..but other than that...holy moly.0 -
We've actually bugged one thing regarding Violent Dance, but if more issues are coming up with it we can definitely bug those! I'll check these specific Glyphs you mentioned.0

Okay updated info on the golden glyph. When I was unequipping and equipping the gold glyph I was within duel status with another player. Perhaps this is why it didn't work but I haven't retested. I am seeing the difference in pk but the numbers don't make sense. I gain somewhere between 2-3k magic attack with 29k hp self buffed, this is only about 10% with my level 5 glyph which should give 30%.0

Are you on Dawnglory? I'd like to run some tests so we can find out exactly how it works. Or post some screenshots before and after.0 -

From the numbers posted on the other thread about UVD I suspect the golden glyph is just a translation error and is working as intended.0
