Neverfall Streaming the Flow quest: How do u gather astral crystals when u cant select them?

The quest asks for u to gather 10 astral crystals floating above the arcane academy.
I cant seem to be able to select them so am completely stuck in this step in the main quest chain.
Anyone any hints?

    I was able to click on it by flying a bit below it and clicking it on the bottom, the hitbox seems to be a bit bigger that way.

    OK. I did manage to get it done but selecting the target by its name. The only problem with that is any other player doing the same will select the same target.
    I am going to raise a ticket as there are lots of items that are not targeting correctly.
    If they are a fight target the mouse over should be a sword, if a collect or dig a pickaxe, or to talk to a speach bubble.
