Does the Demonic Eruption (Demon Burst) give me Attack Rate or Critical Rate?

Hello all,

I'm very confused, Does the Demonic Eruption (Demon Burst) give me an attack rate or critical rate? in the Skill list say that give me 25% Attack Rate and some people say that give me 25% Critical Hit Rate... Which is the thruth?

Depends on your class.
Duskblade gets crit rate and barb/BM/sin/seeker gets attack rate.
All arcane classes gets -% channelling, with the exception of veno which gets physical attack along with the magical attack.

Thanks you shopcheese for the answering, I´m very confused with that skill description, because in the skill list say that demonic eruption give me attack rate and not critical rate. Another question, you are Duskblade player? I want to ask you some question.

Yes they are right it simply depends on the class.​​

could be wrong however:

sin- attack rate
duskblade - crit
BM - attack rate
archer - attack rate
barb - attack rate
seeker - attack rate
cleric - channel
veno - channel
psychic - channel
storm - channel
mystic - channel
wizard - channel


The duskblade is crit instead of attack rate, because they realized for once, how broken APS on a DB would be if they allowed attack rate on 3 spark.
Reaper form = 20%
3 spark = 25%
wind shield = 10%

all three of these would stack giving a total of 55% additional, making you a 5 aps DB with minimal work to it.

I already gave one.

Seriously speaking I havent played enough DB to say which is definitely better but mine is demon. There are some strong sage DBs, there are some strong demon DBs but the demons are way more outspoken on demon being better path than the other way around.

@lordsesshomaru#9819 Wind Shield does not stack with any other Attack Speed increase skills aside of Reaper Form.

@saxroll Because demon is better in any regard. Sage does not even have a damage advantage. Sage's skills are too slow and can be countered easily. Then there is Settling Ripple..useless in Sage..godlike in Demon. Granted. Before the Glyphs the gap between Sage and Demon was ultra-massive. Now its not as bad anymore..but demon is still better. Crit-cap in Demon Spark results in far more damage compared to just being able to use a little AMP (which is pretty useless unless you go alone due to HF being vastly better + 4 seconds less DD time). So for PvE and PvP there is no reason to be Sage.

Yeah, I have worked hard and typed my fingers off to get the message out for Demons to be vastly superior..If you would add up all the posts I made just on duskblades culti I could release it as a full-sized Book ._.

In all honesty, especially nowadays: Sage isn't unplayable..but it just has no special redeeming factor for itself. True, due to DT debuff you will have more chances to Charmbypass on your own...but if you have the time to cast DT fully...seriously xD In 1v1 it hardly matter since you win anyways.

@saxroll who are the strong sage duskblades? Not even trying to troll only geared dbs I've seen are Tigga/Clyde/Rekko/Maybe Onyxblade? But after that? I haven't seen many endgame geared sage curious who I may not know

@jsxshadow there's obvious reasons why you need to stop arguing with ppl over this. No matter how many videos uploaded, no matter how the most proficient duskblades you ever seen are always demon there's no point in arguing just sleep/distant cloud every sage duskblade who uses sage settling ripple and laugh at wasted 2 spark or telestun on slow channel DT before cast or mid cast so their target doesn't get the dg who makes them rage. Just ignore it tell ppl demon and why if ppl argue just smile and watch that hp hit 0 ._. But thank god for slow channel DT and 25% spark on moonchant because dbs struggle for chi in combat even without saber beads it's a dead horse man ._.

Also I really hope that was a typo windshield stacking with demon 3rd spark attack rate buff... LMFAO

This might be just Et thing but we got literally 2 geared DBs on server that I have ever seen in PK. Tigga and Caliber, who afaik like quit or least I havent seen Caliber online recently. Both are sage. I do have noticed demon to be more prominent on other servers though. But like I said, I studied the demon/sage differences when I chose the culti path for my alt but I didnt enjoy the class enough to really play it any longer. Point being, I agree in thinking demon is better but I really havent PKd on enough to call it one way or another.

@saxroll I've seen people make sage work mostly on Chinese or Russian servers from YT but not many here play it seriously as sage for me to make me say with confidence sage is fine. I was sage at one point and there was so many faults I saw demons didn't have to deal with I swapped and all those issues were gone and I hardly noticed any loss what so ever

With "make it work" you mean slaughtering inexperienced noobs with it? xDDD Yeah, I've seen that too and the reason they've won (would've been way easier as demon tho) wasnt because they were good. Nah, it was because there has been no counter-attempt whatsoever from a majority of their enemies

Yeah, I prolly argue way too much. Then again, sometimes its excruciatingly boring at work (yeah sometimes no user has any problem and I just sit here and bore myself to death). In these situations I kinda like arguing because it kills alot of time xD

@jscshadow I suppose I can understand half the time I post it's usually at work too bored actually 90% of the time not even half lol. Still no point in arguing when people make it clear they are stuck in their ways just beat them and move on I don't waste time trying to help those who don't want it

Thank you all for answering my question, I chose to be a demon duskblade first, If I dont like it I will become sage using Supreme Celestial Schism Mold.
