Marriage Quest - Aegis Tower Disciple Disappears

While we are killing the mantis', we see the disciple standing there. After we turn in the the quest for the mantis items, we head back to kill the disciple and he's not there. We waited nearly 30 mins and he didn't show up again. I left another toon there afk to check, now and then, for a few hours and still nothing.

I see this has been a problem in the past. I know the quest worked fine over a year ago, as I had done the quest before I stopped playing. Can we get this fixed again please?
