Missing items Non-replaceable.

Hello, i decided to go r9 on my sin. Farmed for some, and cashed some for it.
I made the chest and belt just before maint last week only to find them missing when i got back on the next day.
I sent in a ticket and was told that since they didnt see the items in my inventory, it could not be replaced............what?
I kid you not, they seriously said since they cannot find the missing items in my bag, they cannot be replaced.
So i asked for the materials for just them 2 pieces of gear missing. Not like im asking for free r9 or something. I legit paid for it.
They said that the materials used weren't in the bag neither. o.O
Am i missing something here or they not sharing what they are smoking?
If the materials and or gear was in my bag, i wouldnt have made the darn ticket. Thats just utter nonsense.
Can a GM here help me pls and replacing what i legit bought?
Not a forum moderator, i need someone with a level of effort and power to handle this.
Not someone saying "make a ticket". I did.

how can they say since the item isnt in the bag, it cant be replaced?

    Writing a ticket is basically your only option, the GM we got snooping on these forums has little to do with customer service department and isnt thus much of a help with your situation.

    In my experience you need to be very clear with staff as basically half have very little idea of what they are doing(They work with multiple games so its understandable). If that doesnt help, close ticket and open new one and hope for the best with another GM or ask them to throw you to another support staff member. Getting upset, starting to rage or call names will never help you. Not saying you did but the CS of this game is pretty bad and dealing with it requires fair bit of patience.

    They actually told me to becareful when trading rank 9 gears to players..............
    Clearly whoever i got to handle this ticket, hasnt even logged into pwi before in my opinion.

    Yea, they are clearly unaccustomed with PWI, prolly mostly handles tickets from other titles. You can politely ask them to direct you to staff member who is more accustomed with PWI or close the ticket yourself and see if you get lucky with another ticket.

    Do you have SS of these gears? (If not it may be hard to prove unless you brought items from Shop)

    If so attach them to the Ticket and ask that its taken to the next tear.

    You wont get any support on here for this type of problem apart from advise on dealing with the problem.

    clearly customer support isnt support. and it was sent to the next tier.
    The senior gm is the one who told me since it was not in my bag at the time they checked, it cant be replaced.
    If it was in my bag, i wouldnt have made the ticket.

    If i were in ur situation i would try my luck with live support as well. Also gms dont see all threads on forum. Gotta at least ping them and hope...

    Back in the day, support would take the lose of r9 gear seriously and was able to go threw logs to find what happened.

    I did go through support. Nothing happened
    They said and i quote " Unfortunately we won't be able to have these items replaced with none of the originals found in the inventory"

    R9 is an easy to prove thing. Simply ask them to check your completed quests log, if the r9 quest is there and completed then you got r9 and it's missing.

    EVEN if they gave you back the mats for r9, the quest can only be taken once, hence, you'd still be missing your stuff...

    It's pretty simple. If your character doesn't have the r9 quest completed then you're either lying or they rolled back a bit, but if they did you would have the money/items you had before buying r9, so...

    Anyways, tell them to check questlogs, only way to prove it since you don't have screenshots.

    They are really stringent now about returning missing items. My wife had maxed S cards and was sorting out her Avatar bag as she wants to aim for a Warsong set. She has Incarcerate equipped and maxed and had 4 of the A in her bag. As she dragged them down onto the 5th row in her bag, replacing B cards on that row, they all disappeared simultaneously.

    She took an SS right away and SS of all her cards already maxed so they couldn't have been devoured even if she tried. The person handling the ticket basically said you can re-obtain the cards by charging.. She has spent easily over 30kUSD on this game over the years on various accounts and servers so I think that plays a part in whether they choose to replaced bugged or misplaced items. I know of people who NPC r9 gears somehow but they get them replaced, Even though it says it contains rare item and they dont double check on the double check screen.

    90% of this game is playing without GM or customer support. If a bug happens, we have to try fix around it ourselves ie re-farm items, re-buy items etc. I don't think you'll be getting those items back.

    @saxroll Hey I don't snoop, I creep, big difference. On a more serious note, I'm QA so it's outside my department unless it's the case of a bug or glitch of some sort.

    @bself23 Firstly, what server are you from?
    To my knowledge we have not had rollbacks, but if there is something happening to players on a particular server or a specific set of players, then we might have to look into it. I am also assuming you did not NPC your gears.

    For your specific case though, do you have your arc receipts on the items you purchased? Make sure to have that documentation on hand, as well as any SS you can provide to Support. You can also see if live chat is an option for your specific case (though I'm not sure what they take and don't take, so there is that). The following is going off the assumption that this is Rank 9 BASE you are talking about not the gear upgrades, however the supplemental information probably couldn't hurt either way.

    Check the NPC you get your R9 from and see if his options are no longer available for the gears you got. If you had gotten the Rank 9 base, it is a one time quest. This quest, once redeemed, can not be done again for the same character even if you have the required materials. If you had redeemed pieces of gear for that specific character you are ticketing in for, this follows that you would no longer have the option of trading in your materials for Rank 9 for the gears you already got once. So it's pretty much bringing the case of "Where did my gears go if I did not NPC and they are nowhere in my bank or inventory? They can not be account stashed, can not go into cupboard or wardrobe or dropped. I bought these items and here is my proof. The NPC also no longer has these gears available to obtain, so I have used the subsequent materials for it and done the quest for it."

    Not saying to say it exactly like this, but you might have to let them know you already walked though most troubleshooting and have consulted other players on the forums about this issue.

Basically you have no unquestionable proof of this happening.

    I personally dont think money spent should have anything to do with what kind of CS service you are getting and thus its adorable you bring their CS history into these forums.

    As for replacing R9, its easy to prove you had the first stage R9, which gives credibility to the whole story. Its all bout what can and cant be proven. You can thank all the people who abused support with "missing" items for why they are so unwilling to replace anything.

    I attempted support again and all they said was "we have to close this ticket"
    Nothing got done. So ive been farming ws like an idiot to reobtain the molds for my chest and belt.
    then i have to re obtain all the mogs and gst's needed all over again.
    I check in all areas of my toon that r9 gear can go to and i do not have it.
    The quest remains but i dont think its the same one for the gear. Im not sure because ive tbh not read it lol.
    But either way, seems im out 100$ for this mess.
    Only advice i get to offer people is be careful when you donate to such a horribly supported game.
    If you lose the money or item you purchased. O well, pwe got their money thats all that matters right?

    this happened to a friend of mine some time ago.
    A barb. lost most of his r9 gear to someone who got access to his acc.
    He couldnt prove it, only proof he had was a different ip logged it and showed it had been npced.
    He got it all replaced that next maint. I feel my issue is from some annoying glitch which support seems to think their system is 100% foul proof. ALL and i mean ALL servers and systems WILL have glitches and errors from time to time.
    PWE cheap servers are no exception.
    I would also like to add, its not like im asking for full r9rr+12+josd or whatever.
    Its simple 2 pieces of base r9. unrefined. Not recast. Not sharded. Simply returned or my mats i usd to make them.

    Well it's impossible for you to off gotten r9 and still have the quests available, unless there was a rollback of some sort. So either you never had r9, or you got it just before a maintenence and it got rolled back.

    She found she had it on vid as her fraps was still recording from after NW and checking her cards for TW. Sent it in and they denied it and replied with a copy paste of the previous reply about *these cards can be reobtained through cash shop items in the boutique*

    Either way they have no real system to replace items. After all, everyone knows of a certain player who just simply traded off his Dominance tome for a maint, logged back in took a SS and said it disappeared and got given one which he then sold to upgrade his original to Emp. PWI have bigger problems they should focus on like the masses of acc sharing instead of being so anal over missed items. Probs 90% of the missing items are genuine complaints.

    I think that in the case of rank 9 is not even a problem of the mats being lost, or the money, or the the time farming for it.
    The real problem is that the base r9 it is a one time quest and can not be crafted again. So a troll answer from support like: "Sorry we can't help you. Go and buy it again" is not valid.

    There should be a way to recraft the r9 armor, belt and weapon with the mats. The only piece that is questionable is the ring, since said piece can be abused by players.
    So in case of the ring. GM should be able to look at person bag and bank in order to see if said person is no trying to get an extra one.

    I knew a certain archer that npced his bow by accident (I think he was drunk atm... :D )
    It took him about two months to get the weapon back. But this was maybe 3 or 4 years ago so it is most likely that is not even the same people on the CS.

    I also knew a few people that reforged their r9 ring in to another class by accident (like a wizard that made a psy one)
    In most cases support simply did not help them, giving standard copy-pasted answers like: "We can not replace in game items, please go and remake it again"

    What I can assume is:
    Too few people on support for too many games, also some of those people maybe don't even know too much about this game.
    Also as was stated before, many people abused support in the past, like sending fake pictures of lost gear and stuff, so no wonder why support acts like that some times.

    I heard rumors that someone from the old Archo server actually did that with a COM years ago :D
    But on that case it was just rumors, so don't quote me on that :D
