It's because they completely screwed up my profile. I don't think they'll ever re-enable it because it doesn't work across the forums anymore. The switch to Vanilla was one of the biggest mistakes they've made in a while.​​

Agreed.

Think most of us have got used to it now. Some of the features are better as well.

Yeah... Vanilla is weird. It makes no sense to not have private messages as an option since in the end having that avenue closed basically encourages drama etc to happen in the public. I guess it's lucky pwi forums are filled with a pretty small sample of posters.

I have no idea what kind of policy PWI had during this time, but I'm glad they woke up and realized that the community was still here and should not be left alone.
