SB or Wiz

Hey guys,

I am looking to create a new AA class toon and confused if I should go for SB or a Wiz. I aim to pvp with decently refined G16 gear (Cube Neck + WS Belt) and possibly with a Warsoul weapon. I know its not much but still would be cool to pvp some similarly geared people. I have a Psychic with the aforementioned gears but he is too squishy to do anything even against similarly geared players. Wizards have the barriers while SBs have that reduced damage skill plus mobility which adds upto a good defense.

Wizard was the weakest class in PWI for a long time, but they've gotten nice buffs in recent expansions. They really have a nice kit now and are pretty interesting. SB is one of the "good" classes although I think it's a bit overrated. If you just want a tankier psy that can do something, I'd go with Wizard.

Stormbringer are way better at lower gear than wizard, for mass that is.
Even if you one day can afford expensive gear, wizard are not necessary better than stormbringer, kinda depends where you do pvp and who are your teammates.
I would go for stormbringer without a doubt though.

I do not speak for any kind of 1v1 if thats your interest.

For mass i would say sb your skills are super useful there. If your focus is 1v1 i vote wizard

You can't compare any new class to the old ones, that's how pwi works, the new classes are just better... it all comes down to what you enjoy more, sb though can do more than a wizard within the g16 section.

i feel if g16 is max gear.. go for wizard.

in g16, both classes gonna be squishy af , but wiz got barrier.

wiz got good movement aswell.

sb on the other hand can cast while walking (some skills)


on a total sidenote : go assassin, if you ever thought about it xD (good dmg, good selfheal., godly in pve, good for farming)
