Starter pet?

in Venomancer
Hi just starting the game again after a few years away and alot has changed.Im going the root of the AA venomancer and after getting the starter pet choice im confused about which to take as both are monkeys can someone advise me which would be the best to take which would be a good pet for a while? ty :)

    Either of them will be okay for a starting Venomancer. Neither of them can evolve so you will not want to keep them once you have access to better pets.

    Pick one and use it until you can tame a Glacial Walker (tank pet) and a Dark Wanderer (DD pet) or a Varicose Scorpion (DD pet). You can tame those fairly early on and they are pretty solid pets to keep for endgame, unless you plan to buy legendary pets in the future. Otherwise, there are more choices, but those pets are available at later levels.

    aww no lol i like the dusk one more than the berry one but cant trash to retake lol
