Returning back to the game(pretty much a newb)

Trying to play this game after 5 to 6 year absence. I am completely overwhelmed by the amount of changes this game went through. I see that there are new classes and can't decide which class to pick. The last class i played was Archer and Venomancer. Is Venomancer still the top choice for soloing? Which class is second to soloing if Venomancer is still 1st place in soloing? Also im going the F2P route, not trying to spend money on this game since i'm going to be casually playing at most.

    Venomancer can still solo stuff very well but sins probably took the 1st place.
    Honesty all classes can solo most instances as long gear/skill/knowledge allow them to do so.
    The two newest classes (duskblade and stormbringer) have also very good solo abilities and i would probably recommend one of those two if you are looking into starting a new class.
    Solo dungeons you most likely want a class that can get bp (bloodpaint, a buff from sins) it makes solo quite easy. That is basically any of the melee classes. (Duskblade, Assasin, Blademaster, Seeker, Barbarian)
