Returning player in need of advice

Hey guys! To most of the internet i'm known as Sxli.

I haven't played on the official PWI servers in almost 4 years. Needless to say, A LOT has changed.
Currently I have a 73 Blademaster that is grossly under-geared. Currently I am wondering if it would be worth working to get him geared up and continue leveling him or start a new character since this is basically like a new game to me and I know nothing about all the new features.

If I start a new character I was thinking a Stormbringer, Assassin, or Venomancer (those are looking like my top 3 picks currently). Though I could be sold on any class that can reliably solo some instances and level quickly.

Any advice is much appreciated.

I vote for a completely new character since there's a new starter area, new ingame guides etc etc, lots of changes.

If you decide to stick to your Blademaster go for Quicksand Maze gear (70 and then 85) and then later get a set of TT90/99.

From those 3 (at low level) I would say veno has the highest solo capability because of their pets. (Get a glacial walker around lvl 20, make it attack a boss and stay back to heal it, takes a while but no deaths) Assassin can solo stuff too but in my opinion its more of a late-game soloer. Stormbringer can kite well because they can cast skills while moving but since they are AA they are not that tanky. ​​
