How many accounts are you allowed to own ?

So i have this following questions . How many accounts are you allowed to own and how many are you allowed to log in at the same time ?

    Can OWN as many as you want if you had them created before the current rules. Can log I believe two at once. MANY violate this rule but it is hard to catch/prosecute.

    I dont think the rules regarding maximum accounts owned/logged are in place anymore.

    I think it's a bit of what everyone said.
    Like @tuttle said, I think you can own as many you you want but can only login 2 at once but like @dingo488 said, i don't think that the rules are not there, I just think nobody gives a **** anymore :expressionless:

    Let's be real, so many players log more than 2 accounts that to enforce this you'd have to ban 90% of the community :'c

    There's no way to find out really if people are logging more than 2 accounts.... as there are families who play together from the same IP/household.

    IMO I don't care who account shares/logs multiple accounts at once etc... as long as the servers are semi populated for them to remain open. IDGAF.
    Lets be honest... at least on my server the population seems to be that what is was prior to the server merge.... reporting/banning more players is just going to make it even worse.​​

    Yap, since they generalized all the ToS into one big ToS for the whole arc platform you are literally allowed to own unlimited numbers of Accounts and also to log unlimited amounts of accou ts at the same there. Nothing in the current ToS even remotely prohibits that. gg.

    you are allowed to have multiple accounts, i myself own several, ive been around since 2008 i have rb2 100s of at least 10 different toons across these accounts, i believe the multi client policy is two but honestly who really cares if one has more than that as long as they arent creating issue like scamming or being turds to people. Also i play this game with my gf and my kids we have four pc's in the home. no issues to date.

    The ToS does not cover all the rules with regards to a game, games have their own policies as well, as seen for example here:

    Those are still in effect, and always have been. ToS has never stated the max account logged in / owned as far as i recall, it's always been through forums.
    Then again, there's always point 4.12 in the ToS, so there is literally a lot that of things that say you can't have unlimited things and that they can take action.

    I'm sure it's as below.

    A reasonable amount of accounts. But Pwi is no more than 2 accounts online for the owner/user of said accounts.

    Tho most break this rule. Their is a bot on the server that can check for this. but it is not switched on.

    H, how is it an in game bot can check for the mac address, which is what you would actually need to know if it is the same owner, rather than same household? (and even then, one person with 4 computers could run 6 shops and 2 toons and claim household)

    Indeed. One of the reasons its been disabled I would guess. The client can report back info to the server for example how many clients your running on one system. Makes no odds to me to have a system like this if it was not used. That I don't understand as it could have avoided a lot of issues from the start. However its to late now...​​

    i think its dumb to have a rule to where you can only have x amount of accounts. or even x amount of accounts login. not harming anyone with it tbh but hey tis pwi logic for ya

    Also helps with server load. Running a server u don't want people using stupid amounts of resource for something that can't all use. Giving people that need it when they log in.

    i dont know are families play pwi a lot i know it sounds horrible but the little ones like playing it to so we let them grind mobs and pick up items we actually play as a family as strange as that sounds.

    we have the adjust wc tho so they cant see it some stuff is not appropriate just allow pms and the system messaging.
