G17 WEAP, PROC or NOT?

i was just wondering, becauz i've went over all the g17 weap rolls and havnt seen any proc. like rrr9 weap proc- puri/zerk etc etc. ive heard a few people said that the last cast do have it but i think pwi would have put the stats on the weap unless they were random. so if anyone knows please tell me, do the g17 offense roll got puri proc??

    There's 5 different ranks or tiers (whatever you prefer call it). The tier 3 and 4 of the weapon comes with one of all possible procs, while the final tier 5 (both offensive and defensive version of this tier) comes with 2 procs - a defensive proc and an offensive proc. Purify is a defensive proc.
    In short: If you have a final stage of g17 (tier 5) as the offensive version, you can get purify proc + another offensive proc.

    Windtrail Shadow: When you are attacked, you have a
    chance to become immune to all damage for 5 seconds.

    Dimlight Figure: When you are attacked,
    you have a chance to become untargetable
    by enemies for 5 seconds.


    I am assuming nobody knows the % for those 2 procs, but if someone does, I'm curious. If the % is really, really low, one day when i get g17r5 i'll go with purify, if it is like 8-15% however then i'll go with one of these.

    In all honesty, if until the day I do get g17r5 there is no info on these proc's % then i'll just try to reroll the weapon to test them myself :x


    @thread yes, you get 2 procs on g17r5, 1 offensive proc and 1 defensive. If I am able to ever have both weapons I'm thinking about going with Offensive GoF + Puri and Defensive Blackhole (Purge) + Either puri or one of the procs mentioned above xD Hey, one can dream :o

    I think most people, that are actually trying, just started collecting the rare mat for the 3rd version this week. Since you need 700 sigils for it and you get about 4 per day (for now) Id say thats still gonna take like ~4 months before people have the 3rd version of G17. Unless some people were actually crazy enough to get multiple chars with a 4050 prosperity homestead, but that would be blowing a lot of money on whats still a useless weapon, godspeed to them. :sweat: (would be an investment of around 400m coin per alt to get ur weapon 12.5% faster)

    I see, 4 months for a weapon that's a bit better than R9.2 is actually not too bad for other regions where most ppl still walk around with rr8 weapons, it's actually nerfing warsoul/r9.3 people by giving their rivals damage bump by a lot for next-to-free.

    only reason i'm doing HS on my main is to save up mats to get an alt's weapons. but i've already considered getting my lvl 100 alts to do HS so i can build it faster. was thinking this before reading this thread

    You can make 50 weapons if you want if you have the time and money xD It's not a quest base weapon like r9 which you can only pick once.
