I'd love to see FC back just so I can have something to farm and profit from since I can do this in about 15-20 mins a run. Easy money and great motivation for post-dailies boredom.0

not to mention the new chars are actually out in the real world map doing quests again. Nice to see all the WC from them asking for help in low level FBs and BHs just like the old daysblazerboy said:Lets not forget ppl paid others to log chars and fc thier toons for them not learning the class. Okay... FCC was a disaster, and it had lasting impacts on the game.
1) Goons. There are still people running around who glitched to 105, and when the glitch was still being exploited, it had a direct impact on TW. I know there are people now who are legitimately 105x3, but still, I chose not to glitch goons, and always felt cheated that the people who did never actually got punished. If I had known back then that nobody would actually be punished for abusing goons, I would have 105'ed everything I had.
2) Buying and selling heads was the most annoying BS ever. I had characters across 2 accounts that needed lower BH's, and often times, trying to form a BH was impossible because of how rapid the heads spam was. "Buying heads", "Heads 2m", or "FCC 3m" scrolled WC so fast that it made it impossible to do anything else.
3) Despite the terrible downsides to FCC, selling heads and such, it actually was a good thing as well. People who were poor, or stubborn, or people who just wanted to actually play, who actually did runs, were forced to learn their classes. I ran a LOT of FCC's in legit ways, and learned how to play many of my characters just from that. I was a part of many 75-85 runs, and trust me, having 4 people level 75-82 and one over 85 made for one hell of a difficult run.
4) PV is meh. PV 'fixes' much of what FCC broke. The level limits for PV, scaling exp, and overall exp distribution is better in PV, but being limited to as many runs as you can jam into 15 minutes sort of screws it. in 2010 and 2011, I would run FCC up to 50 times a day, often times duoing it with a fac mate, or soloing it for myself. For PV, you basically get one shot at it, and if you have a screwup, then oh well, try again tomorrow. Also, now that there is RB, you will find people selling PV runs, and some are waaaaaay more expensive than an FCC run (max FCC run I saw was 4m each to solo it, I've seen PV for 20m a person for a soloed run). Personally, I really dislike the interaction that RB has with PV. My Sin, which is a TT99/G15 build still, once RB'ed, could very easily solo PV at level 60. So, PV encourages soloing for OP players, there's no encouragement to squad up. I often find myself soloing it, even if there's some idiot begging for someone to come hold their hand through it on WC.
Overall, FCC was useful at first. Then it became annoying. Then broken. Then very, very annoying. And now it's totally dead. I mean, hell, I rolled a second Seeker just to build her to be able to solo FCC. Now she's just a daily hoe, with nothing really meaningful for her to do. I do BQ and that's about it. My other seeker never made it past 95... FCC could be useful, but it would need to be rebuilt for scaling of difficulty/level restrictions. I'd love to see them remove PV and properly fix FCC, but honestly, I doubt that will ever happen. It WOULD be nice to be able to do squad runs again for a meaningful purpose, but... It won't be in FCC.0 -
It's still good exp when one uses the exp neck and other adorns and the training esoterica and the exp buffs0
