Ok well I got some built on one of my alts but quest line disappeared. This is so frustrating. Is there a printed quest line we can look at to follow, instead of trying to read red chat in chat line? ARRRGGGGG

Not at the moment. I'm sure someone will upload a video later. There might even be a PWI livestream.

OK NOW I'M FRUSTRATED TO THE MAX. I am beginning to hate this game. I am not a noob, nor am I not tech savy, but for the life of me I cannot figure out this ****. One of the biggest frustrations is that there is NO instructions on this part of the expansion. I understand that this is new and ...... maybe in the future someone might make a video or do a PWI livestream, but in the meantime people are getting their new skills while others are being left behind. I have played this game since right after the beta or 7-8 years and have been happy with most expansions, but this takes the cake. Not only are we going to be playing farmville in the game, but we also are supposed to do this with no noticeable quest line showing or guidance. As far as the homestead server being full didn't PWI look at the number of players that would qualify to build their homestead before implementing the upgrade? And you are also adding new players from STREAM? While in the military we had a saying about 7P's... Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents **** Poor Performance...I use what has happened with this upgrade is a classic example. I apologize to any that I have upset with this paragraph, but I wanted to air my gripes. Thank you for your time

The quest should come up automatically. You have to have 35 k reputation and be high enough level.

I can try to make a guide in the next days for the housing system.. but first i need my client in english again so that pictures will help for the most thing

All I can give right now as advice:

Basic Steps for Building and Leveling the Homestead:

    1. Look for the merchant ( one of those you can find in Sanctuary, a bit right and behind the banker, between the houses) He sells basic designs for some quite high prosperity buildings just as a pouch that will randomly give you a recipe. Get the two designs in the first row, the left side ( each of those is 525.000 coins )

    2. Make sure you craft! Remember to add items that you crafted via the Menu and Construction.

    3. Add all items that you crafted into the Codex! Go to the menu -> Codex: on each tab at the top you will find several subtabs. Go through each of them and click on the item with the highest cleanliness and propserity value. Then click on the button with "Valuable Assets". That way you add the value of that item to your propertiy.

    4. Max your propserity and Home level: high prosperity will give you more energy and cleanliness which in return will allow you to gather more Cerise Gems and Resources from your Galleries, Farms and Fragnance Garden. Each Home level will add +5 to your daily energy and allow you to get access over time to better Quests that will reward you with materials to craft the lv17 weapons and skillbooks.Further: More Energy = can craft more = your home levels faster.

    5. Do the daily quests that are in red in the middle tab of the Q button next to the menue button in your home. The basic quest there will grant you each day a recipe for plants. For that quest you usually have to search for a npc that is either roaming around or hiding in a city. Look at worldchat, ask there or fly through the points. For now that is the way I do it. If anyone has a list with possible locations for each NPC it would be appreciated if you shared it.

    6. Chose a mastery! Once your homestead reaches lv 4 you can upgrade your Heavenly Workshop. Pick one of the 4 masteries ( Buildings, Decor, Handicraft, Furnitures). The daily quest for the masteries can be found under Q then as well. BE AWARE! Once you accept that quest it will AUTOPORT you on a random spot on the worldmap. You will receive a pack on your back that you need to deliver FAST. You have 30 seconds to accept the quest popping up which then starts the delivery part. The 30 second timer starts when you accept the quest inside the homestead to port! which leaves many probably with just a few seconds to click accept after the port. As always: No mount, no wings, no speedbuff will work. Hand in the quest at the NPC the autoroute leads you to and port ASAP back into your homestead. Open Q next to the menue for the homestead and Deliver the quest in the right quest tab. Reward is a recipe for the mastery you chose, usually with quite good values for prosperity and cleanliness.

    7. Keep your resources up. With around 150 properity you will collect a good 1,3k resources in 12 hours. So remember to check your galleries and to fill them up with Cerise Gems. You will need a lot of materials, especially for the higher value recipes. Limit for resources: 95.000

    8. Cleanliness. Funny enough this seems to be an aspect of the Feng Shui that PWI added. But... If I understood it correct, your home will close ( or stop working, please correct me if you have more informations on this ) So remember to keep it clean. You can do that either via Cerise Gems or Coins ( Open the Homestead Menue over the M button while inside the Homestead and click on the button next to Cleanliness on the right side. ) With the slide bar on that you can decide if you want to use your Cerise Gems OR coins.

Additionally , the npc that sells Seeds and Animals as well as Soulrecipes, can be found in West Archo, right infront of the Apothecary. The other two npcs are related to the crafting of the level 17 weapons.

I hope this will help for now.

If I have anywhere wrong informations, please feel free to correct me or add to what is still incomplete.

edit 1: corrected time to accept mastery quest.
edit2: correct point 2 and 3 about crafting items and adding them into the codex list. placing them down isn't necessary.

Isnt r9 3rd cast still the strongest in game? What would be the point in tryin to craft gear when 90% of it is bought with cash . Only bringing it up coz in the flyer i get from pwi in the email points it out with a bunch of other things that seem useless since pwi has become irrelevant today

maybe posted this in the wrong thread? o.o this is about the house system and the mats you can gather from it for a level 17 weapon that is without "cash" items ...

Last night I got ported for mastery quest and it autofailed before it even told me what I needed to do. Is there any reason why prescience is a requirement in this quest? If a timer had popped up, or if it had in anyway hinted that it would auto port me somewhere and that it had a tiny time limit/the invisible timer wasn't running when the pop up appeared to tell me what the quest even was...I might have actually been able to do it.

@koudelkamorgan you only get 30 seconds after accepting the quest in your homestead... so when you get ported and the pop up shows up, don't read it. Click accept quest cause the timer runs.

If you take longer than those 30 seconds it simply fails ( which is a mega fail on PWI side as many people need due to lag or slow connections more than 30 seconds for a port sometimes. )

@jabq : only 1 mastery at the same time.

You can generate mats, look under functional buildings, there 4 that generate one type of mat each, but if you kept em at lv 1, gonna have to w8 like a day to get enough mats for anything other than daily funture, have fun.
    full +12 SB, currently lv 105 105 105
