I never do BH EU so I'm missing out on a lot of reward. Never learned to do it and people don't ever seem to want a "noob" in their squad.

you must play with horrible people, usually when I make squad (which I hardly ever now days) I always ask anyone first time, some people dont even respond if they respond it easy to explain to them the relay race rules. . But in all fairness EU not worth doing for bh imo, only ones worth it are AEU for skills/exp, Metal (WS) for extra badge and fsp just because most of us do fsp anyway xD..

The problem isn't specifically, how do new players do FSP when they first reach 100, its how to do they do -anything-. At level 99 you can happily get by wearing junk poorly refined TT90. Lets say the instant you hit 100, you RA and get back to 100 again, probably still in TT90 because you can't earn any money.

Now what? A RA'd char in TT90 who's only just starting to earn passive skills is still going to die a lot in FSP, not be able to solo defend in WS and so on, so how are they supposed to progress any further and earn their TT99/s1/s2/s3 gear? The gear gap and jump in difficulty between level 99 and 100 is so enormous that I don't see how new players are supposed to come onto the game.

That's all I expect from the release onto steam. Sure we'll get a bunch of new players. They'll do quests, level up to 100, then find they're so ridiculously far behind all the existing players that they'll never catch up, they can't earn their lvl 100 gear, and they'll give up and quit again.

That's just stupid, in 1 week you can RA back from 1-100 anyway without that buff so doing what you're suggesting makes it take 2 weeks longer.

Actually, you can solo defend in WS in TT90 gear but you need to have a bit of knowledge in your class to do so. You can see it here and she used this gear. (Granted, with that particular gear in the calc. she probably wouldn't survive some boss AOEs but people doing WS probably have something better.) I've also taken my 5k HP TT90 Psychic in FSP (deicide) and she did fine but I had to be very careful.

Don't get me wrong, gear plays a big role, too. However, the better gear people started having, the more they forgot how they used to play with crappy gear and still manage to get by in the instances. I know some instances were updated overtime, but that might have been to encourage more team play and requiring more coordination.

Anyway, I don't disagree that the gap between level 99 and 100 is big. I just think people forgot the crazy things we used to do in our silly TT90 gears back in the days. The main reasons I don't see new players sticking around is mostly because 1) they want competitive pvp which is hard for new players or 2) game is old and they rather play something with better graphics or 3) they are the instant-gratification type and want everything available from the get-go (in which case, they shouldn't be playing an MMORPG xD).

I agree that FSP is not hard to do on the cleric if you are use to be a healer. Im a 2nd ra cleric who i play for 6 years now. But I also have a veno which is the problem. In random squads ppl expect you to be perfect in doing axes. Sorry I'm human, I make mistakes.......but for some players its like you murder some one if you had a bad timing on the axes. Being kicked form the squad is not really a reason to try it again for me. Also the constant demand on the wc for R9 in any ofthe instance is sickmaking for me.
Like i say i cant pay for it. Real life comes first! But to be seen as a noob because I'm G16 who knows how to play her class is sad! Why its so hard to accept ppl who have a bit lesser gear then you have? And why do many ppl change to snobs as soon they have R9 is what I dont get. So why create such a different between players for a BH? As for lunar as bh its was more fun then FSP no problem on the drops. Who pays got the stuff! FSP is always a fight on who get what and when......So yes I hate to have BH FSP 3 times a week!
