Class Idea~?

Going to make this fast because I am re-writing this as I just accidentally backspaced about.. 30 seconds before I could post, and I can't find how to get to wherever the draft was saved so .. here goes nothing.

Think Blademaster + Wizard. The arcane armor version of the blademaster. Where the wizard would be the "jack of all trades, master of none" mage (Fire, Water, Earth) the " Elementalist " (for the sake of easy reference) would be the "specialist" being able to focus on very specific types of magic, able to use any of the basic elements of the game, fire, water, metal, wood, earth, you name it, they can use it. you could be a metal mage, fire mage, and maybe, with enough work, even be able to master 2 or 3 types of magic and be a hybrid mage. The magic types could all have their own, speicial effects (IE. Fire - Raw damage, Water - Average damage, Slows, Freezes, Wood - Poisons, Bleeds, DoT, Metal - High DoT, Def. reductions, Debuffs, etc) This would allow elementalists to be a very unique and flexible class, even among other elementalists (IE. Elementalist A : Fire / Water , Elementalist B : Wood, Metal.) Perhaps they could even have skills to buff up the effectiveness / damage of specific weapon types with specific types of magic (IE. Wand - Fire, Glaive - Water, Pataka - Wood, Magic Sword - Metal, etc) this would even further increase the flexibility and uniqueness of the class. A class this flexible would surely be a force to be reckoned with in both pve and pvp situations.

Now a class like this might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I, myself, as well as the others I live with, feel this would be a very interesting, and fun class type to play as.

Just a thought ~ :wink::tongue:

    *rubs eyes* can't anyone use paragraphs in their posts these days tiger-18.gif

    Anyhow, it's a pretty nice idea which could tie into the wizard class, that at some point a path could be chosen (and reset if needed, enabling people to switch rather than being stuck in 1 path).

    It's not very likely to happen though.
