The hood of the set displays my character's hair color, and her hair underneath is a dark brown.

When using the fitting room palette the hood color doesn't change - nor does the hair underneath.​​

I'm somewhat guessing the hood's intended, so you can change the colour of it (through a makeover) to match the rest of the set. The same pretty much applies to the Mascot set.

Also, this is probably relevant too, but I was told by a faction member that most of the Woodlands set (except gloves) cannot be dyed for some reason, when it should be able to be dyed. It isn't fixed to pure black like shown when you preview it in the boutique, it's fixed to whatever random colour you get. Apparently you can dye the gloves still. I'm not sure if this applies to the Mascot set as well.

I'd like confirmation on this. It doesn't sound to me like it's intended to make the hood the color of your hair (in my case purple) and give my char brown hair as default.

I understand it not dyable but having to get a makeover to change the hood color seems far fetched.​​

The pumpkin works similiar, the ribbon on top of pumpkin head is depend on your characters hair color, besides the ribbon itself isnt really hair.​​
