That unit is another really good choice.
Side note. All of those systems with Win 8.1... First thing to do when you unbox it is to upgrade to Win10. 0 -
MSI and Asus are my two absolute favorite brands right now. I base this entirely on tested reliability and the quality of their customer service department.sylenthunder said:xskysoldier wrote: »http://www.bestbuy.com/site/msi-15-6-laptop-intel-core-i7-12gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-aluminum-silver/1312738612.p?id=mp1312738612&skuId=1312738612

The thing about Windows 10 is, i heard when people upgrade it, those with Nvdia graphics card something happens. Doesn't let you update it and so on..so i'm still not going to upgrade it. xD

All you have to do is download the latest driver from nvidia and install it after the upgrade.
The problems people have is failing to perform this simple task.0 -
I think the gpu issue is just with the 965m and that's probably fixed by now0

I personally would not encourage people to purchase ASUS gaming laptops.
They use their own proprietary GPU standard whereas every other notebook manufacturer uses the MXM standard on their x70M/x80M GPU's. This means in future you cannot upgrade the machine as ASUS do not sell GPU's individually like it is possible to obtain MXM GPU's through avenues like Rjtech.
It's bad enough mobile CPU's are soldered now, don't limit your future options any more than you need to.
Alternatively get a P750DM/P770DM/P870DM and enjoy a desktop CPU in a laptop.
Also @SylenThunder - Sanctuary you should consider looking at Clevos. I place them higher than other notebook manufacturers currently. They are sold as Mythlogic/Eurocom/Sager etc. The P870DM-G is currently the king of notebooks.
Although it differs from resller to reseller I have found that Clevo resellers seem to have better warranties than big name manufacturers like MSI/Asus/Alienware etc.0 -

Although i know some people don't like to bring back forums that are dead...i found this kind of laptop instead. \o/0
