i ahve litterally no clue why this hasn't been answered.
you can not use G15 to get rank 8 gear. it is a totally different craft and obtain system.
rank gear will ALWAYS require reputation. to obtain rank 8 please build 200k rep and pay all fee.
rank 8 will require 200 total wedding candies made froma total of 400 wines.
than go to NPC chest and i beleive legs can be baught for 1mill coins each and trade candies for arms and boots.
NEXT STEP is to do a ton of NW and go to the forges in East arch to check what all you need.


all in all its not worth the effort anylonger. either go g16 or r9rr.
G15 and rank 8 are kinda VERY outdated and and added note to this would be that the rank 8 weapon would still be worthy your time as long as you PVP as it can obtain 30+ def levels on weapon.

Do Undercurrent Hall a few times. Trade UCH coins for those Dragon Stones (the expensive ones, the red ones can just be picked up - players rarely want those)
- Upgrade the TT G15 Weapon to R8 at Cromagnon Village (Crimson Officer Zhen)

that answer is in the how do i get r8rr thread. so yes there is more then one way. this method is also how bms get multiple r8 weapons.


*Edit: You will still need the rep to equip it. if you dont have the rep it will be a red item that is unequipable to you

The option is used by people who cannot/don't want to attend NW for r8r materials & for blademasters who want multiple r8r weapons.
The items themselves still need reputation, so yes you need 200k reputation.
It might becoming less common way now due to one of the possible rewards in heavenfall tower is the expensive r8r materials in a tradeable version, and rest of the r8r materials made from NW are quite cheap to buy. Blademasters will still have to do the nirvana way though.

A great tip when farming the UCH coins is to always be stacked on the quest that gives the coins, that way you only need to do half the amount of runs.
Notice the dragon jade stones (blue ones) aren't tradeable, so you have to do uch for those, while you can buy the dragon blood stones (red ones)

A lot of people will just give the red ones to you if youre in a faction also. Most players have no use for them and they arent worth much... so it's worth putting it out there if its a route you want to take.
