The good and the bad about learning skills this days.

The good thing about learning skills today is you are new or started a new toon is that costs only spirit to learn and lvl up your skills from 1 to 10. Yes 0 coins for learning and upgrading skills from 1 to 10.
The bad thing is that fee reward for low lvl quests has been reduced. So If you thing you are going to make a small fortune by doing those quests since you dont need money for skills anymore you will be dissapointed.

What's the point of this thread? What's to be discussed and why does this matter? Also a vast majority of the coin sink from learning skills is still in place. The only stuff that had it's coin cost removed is the really low level stuff up to around 40-50.

Some skills lvl 8-10 cost coins still. It's good they got rid of the Skill Trainer NPCs, but can get annoying not being able to upgrade skills whilst inside an instance/flying/moving but I guess that's being picky.

To point out that the info in the OP is wrong and that most skills cost coin starting at either level 4, 6 or 8.

By the time they start costing coins, you're in the 20-80 quest areas where coin/exp/spirit rewards from quests have been revamped to give considerably higher rewards. That doesn't even count the large number of new quests that were added as "high gain reward" quests.
In re-playing classes, and in the new classes, I haven't had to do any twinking to get them skilled or geared up into the 90's.

The issue is that most people stop doing the quests, and so never see the rewards.

low lvls got revamped alot.... just by picking **** and doing quests from 1-95 ... one can actually get all the gears he/she needs and a few mil in coins... thats actually not too bad in my books... until BOOM u hit 95, exp is **** compared to the amounts u need ,,, and everything just got 100-1k times more expensive than it used to be :)

Well yes, but you do those for the XP, not the coins.
At 95 you should be able to have gear at no cost / very small cost that does pretty well in PVE, so you should be able to level your skills.

It's all about planning in that case.

It's not like it was any better years ago, where you had to pay for skills and for gear. Now gear gets thrown in your face like candy that you can use in PvE. And skills costs less.
