I finished it an hour ago. 101st on Etherblade, dead last SB cross server. Idk what Garan stones are good for, but that's what I got. Other than a lot of xp, and avatar orders I can't even use it was not really worth it. They really should have had a title to earn for doing it :/

A title for the completion is a really good idea! I wish they had done that.

I was also very surprised not to get any title for this kind of thing

@jabq : at floor 45 you just need to bring the boss on sparky mine to be able to DD him. Just avoid other mines and it should be very fast.

uh-huh? right..... so what else are ya supposed to do to him, I've drug him to the spiked orbs, and have attacked him, but goes immune to fast. whats the deal with the other orbs in the room?

what is the point/function of the spiked flower
what is the point/function of the blue/purple flowers
what is the point/function of the dark flowers

have heard there is something about boss charging attack?!

any bm have a vid of how this room is done?

The dark flowers will amp him. The blue ones will heal him. Try to drag him through the dark ones into a lightning one so you can deal more damage when his immune comes off.

Us bm will take some time to get this done due to our range. Things to be wary about.

When boss is doing his massive turn on your effects. I only turned up my effects at room 80, things became much easier. The red circle on the ground i presume is his damage area. The good thing about the boss, he is very receptive to your movements. You can move him in arcs to avoid the blue circles.

When he starts, take a few seconds to see where the spiked flowers are. Plan your route accordingly. When the boss goes over a spiked flower, he will stop, run to him to start your dd. When he starts moving again, take him to the next flower. If he stops in the middle to do massive attack, keep your distance and move him afterwards.

Avoid blue flowers, they will heal him.

Dark flowers, remember the attack buff that stacks with mob spawns after the earth boss dies the first time. Those semi transparent mobs? you get the same attack buff on the boss when he goes over a dark circle. I just focused on the spiked crystals.

Make sure your points are invested in phy attack and attack lvls. 200~400 attack levels are good, and as many points in attack. If you are not taking massive damage from the boss, just put only 1~5 points in phy armour. I don't think he does any magic attack. Use the attack charms we get from afk friend list people. Don't be scared to reset your points to figure out what point allocation works for you. If the boss is too tough, go to an earlier easier room and farm extra points. I have not tried the range attack buff as a bm, would be amusing if we could dd from 20 meters away.

You will really love the boss in room 81 and 90. Farm those bosses to get points. The boss is low physical attack. Put most in attack and attack levels. I like that boss to farm points, because room in the 90's and 100's take a massive step up in damage dealt.

Room 99, is obilvion a magic attack or a physical attack? it seems to be a magic attack, lvl 5 oblivion with mag marrow, maxed out mdef and 259 def lvls - 10k damage

lvl 5 oblivion with phy marrow, maxed out pdef, 259 def lvl - 22k damage.

Maybe us bm might have some hope here.

I don't know but I think it would OS anyone anyway if you don't get "immuned" thanks to the other guy.

thank you very much, was able to pass that level now, was much easier once I understood what each flower was about and which ones to keep the boss away from.

Question....Is there a time limit on finishing the 108 levels in Heavenfall Temple. Because I finished it and didn't get any kind of a reward. I did take a screen shot showing Congratulations! You have Completed Heavenfall Temple! Kinda sucks finishing and getting no reward.

Did you clicked that chest that was glowing in the middle of the screen after you complete every floor? And than did you clicked on one of those cards with the question mark on it? If you did so you should have get rewards.

I did click the chest that was on the screen on every level and got a reward. But room 108 after completion the chest didn't show up on my screen leaving no reward.

Finally finished on both characters. God doing it in G16 was a PAIN!
To give a perspective my G16 veno has candleflame and was wearing my seeker's ornaments and came in 147th. It took me over 8 hours.
My seeker with r9 came in 5th

Completely agree. Although I have so far only dabbled with the instance to fill in bits of free time, I have to say I'm impressed with what the devs have done here. Stopping people from charm-tanking ( great idea); removing other-class buffs ( undecided - makes it far easier with a cleric than a similarly geared veno for instance); availability of buffs to aid attack / defense / resistance reduces the usual gap in gears / nuemas etc. (another really good idea I wish they would apply elsewhere).

And all those buffs become useless when you reach floor 100~107.

Anyone got any ideas how to slow down the boss in the 100~107 range, in the challenge of the protector? I have the mobs set up, but the boss strolls along on a fast pace, he only slows down by the first slow npc. The 2nd and 3rd npc do not seem to slow him down.

Any idea how to increase your dd? I had to use tidal wafers to beat the corrupted monk, otherwise he would heal back up, took 30 minutes of zerk, crits to whittle down his hp.

BTW corrupted monk special attack - magic res dependent. I killed the dragon to reduce the attack, but his pdef was insane to break through. His special attack only hit 6~9k on 62k hp :D.

I found using stun and slow skills worked for me on that boss

To be perfectly honest, my veno being an HA veno, in order to even imagine completing the last 10 levels I had to switch to AA G16 for the ones that require higher DD (like the protector), NW pot, Ink pot, Use both buff pots, Don channel necklace, belt, cape and helm, and even then It was a challenge (and yes I definitely had both attack levels and attack buffs maxed)

The protector room I find completely buggy. Half the time the second, third and fourth NPC's get stuck on first or second activation with the pearl and will not go any higher (though sometimes I found getting the pearl down a bit further and trying again worked if I hadn't killed the pearl already) and I also noticed that sometimes my slow NPCs hardly slowed that boss down at all. I can say in my experience freeze and stun effects did NOT work for me. I'm not sure if @firstblood lucked out, but I did not have the same experience.

The strategy that ended up working for me was to have as many HF mobs going as I can with only slow bosses every 2-3 npcs. The slow lasts quite a long time (when it works and is on max) and it's the HF for me that really made the difference. I wasn't doing so much damage myself that slowing the boss down would make or break me sadly. fox-13.gif That hf tho. Yummy.

I never had trouble with the protector rooms due to having Searing Moonlight on Stormbringer. Until the final room I could kill the boss before it turned the corner because it was double slow debuffed and double amped. Only reason I almost failed the last room was I had accidentally targeted the bead for a couple seconds and the boss had gone halfway through the room.

So the second week with the new tower and i want to have some input from you guys how worth you guys feel the tower is.
For me its not that worth actually, the rewards are low (for the amount of time involved that is) and the hoped item to be a great addition to getting war avatar cards rolled out to be a even higher scam than the already on sale (sometimes) boxes in the boutique.

I mean the biggest reward the tower gives is the war avatar order. i got this item 40 times in the first week and you need a essence item to make this item usefull which is very expensive in the boutique making it almost worthless.
The EXP is a big factor too and its nice to have but im 105x3 and cant use that at all.

Other rewards are just too little and too rare (only the boss room rewards) making this just a pain and a struggle to do for me atleast.

What are you guys thoughts about this tower on the second week knowing that a major part of the rewards are almost worthless unless you are going to buy war avatar essence.

I'd say its not worth doing when you'd need around 40 gold per week to use your war avatar orders. I plan on just doing it up until like 55 and quitting each week just for the xp and whatever chart xp I get. 55 is also the floor I had to spam about 100 times for buffs last week.

Maybe I was just lucky..but I got plenty of Astropira lvl2 Pearly each char both weeks (around 5 each) and plenty EXP for the Starchart as well (Around 80). If you sum that up to the amount of money you would need to pay in the boutique to get those items alone you would end up at approx 40 gold. Thats 160m in coins at least. LEveling Star Charts yields alot of possible attributes and is definitly the sole reason for me to go in there. The occansional A-Pack and Leveling-War-Avatar-Packs are not too shabby as well. 2 of the 4 chars I am doing it weekly still need some EXP so its very worth it on that account as well for me.

Besides that...my Barb and Storm just need to be under the Top10 (if not even the top3) of all Server every week. They just have to. Granted..I only managed 2:56 this week with my Storm but I am sure I can go down to 2:45 at least next week. If I manage that..I guess I will stay No1 for a pretty long time :D

y..yea fair enough for some i guess.

No i got maybe 20 chart exp out of it and a pill for star energy i belive too but thats about it.
I got buff pillsx100, alot of war avatar order, some war avatar packs B and A and C and some useless refine orbs but nothing too special.
Yea the star chart items are the ONLY thing that keeps me thinking its worth but mhm i will see how far im going this week and the weeks after.

I found a better way to grind this week. I just reroll room 55 until I get pilgrims and grind all the buffs before going on so that only pilgrims will spawn in that room instead of rerolling it every time later. Chaos monk is good too, both are really easy and quick at that level.
