Seeker Endgame Shards late 2015

So I'm looking for a bit of advice on endgame shard upgrades. I'm currently using the Morai sapphires for better magic resists. Lately I've noticed a lot of people going full Vit stones. With the current state of the game with passives and such, are Vit stones essentially as effective as Jades now? Just looking for a good discussion/thoughts on this.

No, jades still offer same relative difference between vit stones than prior to passives. Specially on seeker you want jades for SS combo.

Jades are still alot more defense then vit stone because they take a % of your base defenses and adds up also its great for Sacrificial Slash combo. Vit stone adds hp which really doesnt matter if you're squishy and adds a set amount of mag resist and p.def which is not nearly as much as adding a % of you defenses if you sit down with calculator you will see for yourself. Vit stone build are for people too cheap to work for full jsod because either cash shop or farm its possible but vit stone doesnt match up to jsod especially if both full buffed the jsod far exceed aswell

Cool thanks for your thoughts on stuff. Is it worth it to equip DoDs while getting enough together for Jades? Or is it cheaper to just wait till you have enough to make the Jade?

Yes it's worth it, though depends on how long it will take you to get full jades. The transform option is pretty nice to upgrade the DoDs to JoSD when you get them and flowing crystals/upgrade cost isn't that much, so I've seen many people go for this approach.

As darkonome said it depends. For me I did full DoD and upgraded each later on until full jsod. Its 3g and 4.5m and 2 DoD to upgrade. So if you will take a week to buy them all just make them jades but if this is more of a 3-6 month affair you can put full DoD first for me it took about 2 months so I was full DoD loving the defense and once I got full jsod was even more awesome

Long term go JoSD. on CN they have the +15/20 vit shards iirc and its still decidedly better to go JoSD then the vits that have better defense/hp. Our Attack scales drastically with our defense lvls using sacrificial slash. if you can QPQ the debuff, your damage will jump even higher.

I would personally recommend buying DoD and sharding your gear fully first. then upgrade those shards with flowing crystals to JoSD.
