Cant Get rid of Item.

Hello. i cannot get rid of my item called "minister axes". i have better axes now and i wish to sell/drop whatever.
I cannot sell them as i put them in the store, press sell, and nothing happens. it goes back into my inventory as if nothing happend. also, if i put any other item in the same trade window (these are all selling to NPC also...), NONE of the items sell. they all go back to inventory as if nothing happend. I cannot drop them as it says "cannot discard item", ive tried 30 times. i would LOVE this item to go away as item space is already a hard commodity. PLEASE HELP. thanks.
