Lag and the Dawnglory player

I've heard recently that the Dawnglory server has been recently updated to make it more comfortable for the players forced to merge from Harshlands server.
Well, if it has, some of us aren't feeling it.
There was a post in forums regarding this encouraging players to submit screenshots. I can no longer find that post, or I wouldn't have made my own.
This past Sunday (August 30th), I decided to brave the lag to attempt Nation Wars - something I did twice weekly in HL - to see if the update had helped.

Well, as you can see by my SS, it just got worse.


I have a brand-new, super fast computer (i7 processor, advanced video card, etc.) and the best Internet connection that money can pay for in Maine. I'm still getting 12k-20k ping and a 4 fps during NW. This means I'm dead before I can see myself in the instance.

Now, I find that the faction I've been a member of for the past 3 years will no longer compete in TWs. Infamous OWNED the map for years, and worked hard to do it. Now, with the time changes imposed from being in a different time zone, we can't field the people required to be competitive. Some of us are looking to join local guilds, but I'm truly sad to see this happen to one of the most active, strongest factions from HL.

Way to go PWE. Did you even think about what would happen with the US users? At all? Did you ask for input? Do you care?

I'll try this, but you will no longer get a cent of the nearly $50k US my husband and I have put into the game since 2009. You have a lot to answer for.

its still there, it is stickied on the front page of this very forum section, literally atm the third post above yours

so where is the traceroute? i see screenshot and wall of text, but not the very first thing thats posted every single time this issue comes up, its posted in the sticky, its posted in every 2nd post in technical help forum...

50.000 dollar and still r9.2 gear...should have spent 500 for chiekung stones instead of spamming worldchat 24/7.

also, according to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81_bSyUbqwI you were the third infamous player to arrive the frontline and barraged shortly after that. pretty good micro management for someone that cant see themselve in the instance.
as sad as the downfall of infamous might be, i dont think it belongs into general discussions, and this thread seems to be pure frustration about exactly that downfall.
other infamous members told me it was just a matter of time for this to happen, regardless the merge, so please dont put your frustration and anger on PWE.
