Insta-Party Add

I put my character to auto path, walk away for two minuets, then return to find my character in a part that I know they were not in before.

Is this a new thing that I now need to turn off?

2 years ago or something this was added, press T, uncheck auto accept party invites

Press "T" in-game and un-tick the option for "Auto-accept Party Invites when I am not in a Party".
