I keep checking the PWI forums. But nothing is there regarding how the merge screwed over the Harshlands people, especially the ones in the western time zones from Eastern on. As a player on Harshlands for over 6 years I want to say something.

The time zone change is bad for us. There are hardly any people from the Morai server on when I'm on in the evenings. I've already missed one check in. There's no time stamp to show what time it is. Before you say the European people have been doing this all along for the Harshlands server, they started playing the server knowing the time zone. We've all been playing the eastern time zone for nearly 7 years. Every single event now is during the day/early afternoon when our many of our players are working their day shift jobs or heading out for their second shift ones.

And the guild name and character name issue is such a load of ****. There is absolutely no reason an entire server should have lost their original names, especially if they are older, while the other server kept their names intact. This is especially true for all the people and guilds that were trolled by baby characters and factions that were created since the merger announcement. Names should be unique to the oldest toon or faction holding it and PWE is capable of correcting this issue. Also the issue of the Harshlands guilds losing their faction icons. Basically this entire merge has been a disaster for Harshlands players while Morai players lost nothing.

I just know I'm extremely unhappy with all of this and it has been a struggle to play lately for me because of real life. This just took the very last bit of fun from it.

Actually there a lot of messages stating the same things as your post in general discussions. There is even a dedicated thread just for HL guys being screwed.
And you can also find several posts in the HL subsection.

Now, does PWE care ? I'm unfortunately not really sure.

I understand you and would have reacted the same, especially regarding the timezone part, but I hope some of you guys will adapt and enjoy playing with ex-Morai guys.
I was ok with the NW as they were recently on Morai but I'm impatient to see what it will be tonight, hoping 150-500 of you will be able to attend.

Just a quick tip with the timestamp part, the server time is in fact displayed in the event calendar (where u sign in). Before the morai server i was on lost city and i actually changed my laptops clock to match also if that would work for you.

Personally all i ask is that harshland players dont take the merge out on the morai server players we're not monsters its pwi that chose the merge not us although i love the chance to meet new people!
