The worst part is this was reported months ago and nothing was done to fix it. That demonstrates gross incompetence, well beyond the crappy internal testing they obviously are not doing. If it was a new exploit, maybe they get a pass, but the fact it was reported months ago and they did nothing about it points to systemic…
If this was any kind of beta, they would have just wiped it and moved on. The fact they did not wipe it means it is NOT beta because they must preserve the legitimate, real money transactions that have occured. If they wiped those out, the game would have zero integrity and no one would ever spend a dime on it again.…
The only way they can do a full wipe is if they refund every Zen purchase associated with this game. That will not happen, period full stop. So, here is hoping they can find the mules full of items purchased with the couterfeit AD and the billions of counterfeit AD still out there. Otherwise, the economy will never…
Starting to lose patience with PW. They are in full cover-your-*** mode right now. We can only hope they are working on the problem as hard as they are back pedaling on their soft launch. A flaming bag of HAMSTER is still a flaming back of HAMSTER regardless of what…
It is beginning to look that way since PW doesn't have the stones to do the right thing and do a proper rollback. "Starting Sunday morning"....what a load of ****. It got totally out of hand Sunday morning, but it became very noticeable early Saturday night and has been going on since launch. This is starting to remind me…
So, why are my measly 200k worth of honestly worked for AD still stuck in the DEAD Zen exchange thing? If the feature is disabled until further notice, why don't you release the currency stuck in it? If it was bogus, you would have already erased it so you know it it is most likely legit. This seems like another half…
TLDR: Doesn't matter what they call it. It is permanent and they need a solution that does not compromise the fact that what is out there is permanent.
It's been 2 hours since they said they had a plan to post and no announcement. Someone must have tightened that vice all their balls are being squeezed it.
Correct. They can't wipe it like they could in an actual beta because they are selling service. All the "it's beta" morons need to wake up. Bottom line is the game is a mess and they've taken cash transaction so this just makes it even more complicated for them to fix, thus the extended delay.
Betas get wiped when they end. No wipes because they are taking cash so this isn't a beta. Thought I'd explain it for you since you seem to be struggling with it.
Opening the cash shop blew their "it's just beta" cover. Plus the "no wipes of any kind" which encouraged players to begin to develop their characters via the cash shop.
The internet is full of very bad people that can hide behind keyboards and be the biggest HAMSTER imagineable. Sad fact, but true.
Be happy if they can bring the game back before tomorrow morning and preserve any Zen transactions you may have made. Compensation.....maybe a small token jesture, but nothing signficant.
They only need to roll the servers back between 24 and 48 hours. The exploitation that was going on before that was pretty much unnoticed by the majority of the population. The issue remains how to preserve the Zen/cash transactions that have occured. That is the biggest issue to take care of.
It is not a test (beta) anymore; otherwise, they could just wipe it all and move along. The reason it is not beta and the biggest problem PW is still trying to figure out is what to do about what their PAYING CUSTOMERS have purchased. They can't screw them over or they will leave and there will be no reason to keep the…
And it's the PAYING customers they really REALLY don't want to HAMSTER-off. Sure, the people that downloaded and play it without any of the microtransactions are nice to have around to keep the servers populated, but that ones that fork over the cash, they are the "real" playerbase they are…
