I've been pondering how to get continued interest and participation in updating the wiki - and I had an idea. What if, every month, the #1 wiki contributor got a legendary mount of their choosing? Maybe the two or three runner ups could get a epic mount of their choosing? Make it into a contest, with in-game rewards that…
After spending a mere few hours updating, editing, and creating pages in my spare time, I've already made it to be the #1 contributor in the past 30 days. There is NOBODY adding anything at the moment - practically everything from the last module is missing. I don't know how to datamine tooltips and upload them and all…
I just spent an hour trying to update just the http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Control_Wizard/Epic_Gear The wiki needs so much loving right now, it's unreal. If they were to reward... an enchanted key or 50 zen for every significant page update, or group of tooltip updates... that'd be pretty nice....
Eh, I wouldn't say that, the HP set was just as strong as HV when they still had bonuses. But I remember the 5 CW CN Split runs... oh do I miss those days...
Too true. On the bright side, with only 17 chars, I pulled 10m+ in loot, unbound, including a forgehammer, 4 gond mounts, and tons of lesser bondings....
I think that the loyal avenger gear is somewhat overpowered, but not so much that it needs to be nerfed into oblivion like the HP, HV, and Fabled sets were. Make it a rare drop from foundry, or a 1% drop BoE from CN final boss, and then all will be well again. EDIT - Toned Down.
I would rather not remove the VIP posting fee benefit - as someone who has had to sell extremely rare and expensive items that can take a WHILE to sell, having no posting fee has made a huge difference for me. It took months to sell off all my old HP gear, and when they costed 4-10m a piece, the posting fee would have been…
Honestly, I don't really think it will be much of a difference, either way. I personally prefer the setup with more Arp, because on the occasion that my companion dies/becomes unsummoned (happens a lot to me in FBI and Tia, probably one or more times every run), I still have a decentish amount of Arpen, so I don't become…
I used to love playing with the foundry, but I see no reason to spend my time doing it because: A. I don't get anything for my time B. Nobody is going to play it C. It'll probably break within the next two mod releases.
Wow, another week of epic rewards from parcels, thanks, maybe I'll finally get a damn forgehammer. I do want to ask why there will be no vendor in PE afterwards - That's going to cause some rage, seriously.
I'm not sure whether I need to submit a ticket for each mount I get, or if one ticket for all works, or one for each type of mount I get? I'm so frustrated by this.
I haven't posted a single item to the market. I like collecting all of these items to either resell later in the year, or give away to new players and friends as gifts. Most of the other players I know farming on lots of alts do the same thing - I find that the players posting the companions are people who don't farm the…
Parcels I have not saved, but gifts I've saved on every character. I would imagine parcels would be the same, as they are an item, not an expiring currency. The parcel count will reset at some point in between the festivals
Maybe I was wrong about the way I approached. Just for stats, I'll tell you how much UNBOUND I've gotten on 17 chars, 11 of whom missed the first day because I was so sick I couldn't make it through them all. Remember that I have a week left, and all of my characters have hit the 20 parcel minimum, so I should be getting a…
Not at all, this is me having watched the market not recover from last years festival. The prices never rose back up after the companions flooded the game, and now they've dropped once more. I'm a hoarder, I love saving stuff for 8 months and selling for profit, I have 3 personal guild banks so that I have space to do it.…
I've been crashing several times a day now, most frequently during Dragonflight in SH (70% of the time, not good), eDemo (over 50% of the time as well), and Tiamat (not quite as often). I've probably crashed during other things, but none that come to mind right now. Windows 7 Professional 64 bit Intel Core i7-3630QM…
I'm talking several years ago, before there were any gifts or starlight parcels in the winter fest - the original winter festival didn't have these, they were an addition the second or third year. Way back when, CTA was something that all of the hardcore players would form premades for and farm for hours on end in hope of…
Most CWs sit around 4k Arp with the losty neck, val belt, and whatever artifacts. This is 2k below the arp cap, which is fine for most of the time when we have bonding up, but during long boss battles, like FBI, you dont always have bonding up, and you want to have at least some arp so you aren't completely useless when…
This is good. Let me rephrase that: This is a good start. Keys are ONE OF the MANY types of items that have been cluttering up our bags. The other items that still require some sort of storage solution are... - Fish - Refining Stones/Regeants/Enchantments/Runestones, etc. Personally, I place the emphasis on the RP, as fish…
As a longtime player, I'll attest to it being a bit much. I play this game for the dungeons and group content, not to spend 8 hours on dailies every day for one character. I've stopped doing dailies for almost all campaigns, including the new ones, simply because they just feel overwhelming. I never bothered with Elemental…
I've think my record disintegrate was 11m during a dragon run one or two mods ago. I'm a 3.7k thaum with r12 bondings, full SH boons, all legendaries and mythics, etc. I think that my highest hit that wasn't against a dragon is around 6.7m (Orcus)
Definitely start by ditching the deflect ring, along with the belt. The neck isn't great, definitely needs to be replaced ASAP as well, but do it after the ring and belt. The stats you want to build are Power, Crit, Arp, HP, and LS. None of the other primary stats are at all significant to a CW. It sounds to me like…
If AD is a problem, for PVE at least, a (free) alternative is the DC Class Sigil, it's not quite as good as the wheel, but can be a considerable boost to damage if used well. This prolly isnt true for PVP tho.
