Enchancements Upgrade

So I have 4 Lifedrinker shards and trying to combine to make a lesser. I put in a preservation ward and have a whopping one percent chance of upgrade. Is there a way to increase those odds?

Using a Coalescent Ward will increase the chance of upgrade to 100%. This is the only way to increase it above 1% for the weapon and armor enchantments.

Far from the only way to get a Coalescent Ward...

Thanks Wander didn't want to spend the 25k in AD for the ward without checking.

I'm pretty new too and just did this. You can get the coal wands from the chests you get praying every seven days, it helps if you make sure to pray with alts every day too. They're not common though, I think I've only gotten like 4 since I started and I have 10 chars.

It's often times much cheaper to just buy a lesser version of the enchantment you're looking for than to buy the coalescent ward in case you were planning to.

Worth noting: It's more cost efficient to use preservation wards (buy 100x) worst case scenario you will use every single one to get the upgrade (which is still cheaper then a coalescent ward.) but most likely you won't have to use 50-75% of them. I've gotten a success after 15 or 16 tries a few times now.

Um, no. worst case scenario is you could use thousands of them and still never get the upgrade. 1% chance is every single time. You are absolutely not guaranteed a success within 1 of 100 times. You're describing Gamblers Fallacy.

Is it possible to combine two Lesser Vorpals (for example) and a Preservation Ward to create a "normal" Vorpal?

Yes, you can though it will still only be 1% success rate.

FYI: If you open up the Elemental Evel chest you can get Tramarine bars. 200 bars will also get you a coalescent
