xbone and PC servers cross platform?

Title, heard a ton of conflicting information regarding this. I wanna play with my friends i play PC they play xbone, will we be able to play?

    No. You cannot. No plans to make it cross platform. PC and xb1 have different content. 7 mods vs 2 mods. Trillions of ad in the economy vs xb1s very new economy.

    He already plays on the PC. Re-read what he said. They play on the XB1, and he doesn't. :(
