Hi all,
Right now the best bet seems to be the jewelcrafting dual slot rings. But its a big investment and it'll take me time to level the profession anyway.
So I'm debating between the eleven assault - ilvl 135 cit + recovery, and the elemental alliance - ilvl 132 power + crit. power and crit is a better combo but the slats are lower.

What you guys are using?

ps.
I'm an archer.

There is no HAMSTER + ls ring. The other elven is HP + deflect with a defense slot. And I already scratched it off.
And also no power + recovery. maybe you looked on another class?

My Archer is using two Personalised Adamant Rings of Recovery and my Combat HR is using two Personalised Adamant Rings of Piercing. For Archer I would go with the Power/Crit rings in the meantime.

Now I'm confused, you recommend using power+crit and then switch to power+recovery? Wouldn't that mean losing dps in the long run?
My logic was to keep my crit as high as I can, until I can get it from other sources and then switch to piercing rings (power + arp). But the recovery on the elven ring looked like junk compared to power. So I was thinking to live with a bit lower crit but have higher power.

I recommended Power/Crit rings UNTIL you can get the Power/Rec rings from JC. Although it really depends on your Crit chance and whether you are using Vorpal or not.

HR gear generally swims in ArP (Elven Assault has it on all 4 pieces IIRC) so making the Piercing rings seems pointless unless you have low ArP stat. You want at least 40% Resistance Ignored for pve and max 60% for Tiamat. Anything more is a waste.

That's a good point. But also makes me wonder if crafting the JC rings isn't a complete waste. If I were to chose between power/recovery and crit/recovery, I'd go with crit. Also the extra defense slot, isn't a game changer. (I don't own any enchants higher than r7)
My crit is a bit over 36% without buffs and I use vorpal (normal), so I guess I'll go with with the elven crit/recovery rings for now.

If your Crit chance is only 36% I'd go for the Crit/Rec rings then. You should really be aiming for 40%-plus if using Vorpal.

The lv 60 0nes.. are cheap and you still have the double slot for more lifesteal or hp

Put a Radiant or Dark in and it's HP or Lifesteal - that's why I think it is a gamechanger. Or if you're saturated there, it's Deflect, which also is a good thing you can never get too much of. Which leads to the second point: It's customizeable, ideal to fill you deficits (within the slot type limits ofc)...

...but I concede that this is more a matter of taste and personal preference.

But one thing to consider: Your enchantments will improve, don't bind (unless you do something stupid), and can hence be reused on other chars, and even sold again. Gear: Put it on, and it's use it or scrap it.

I don't really have plans to upgrade/buy enchants in the near future, and I don't have too much of them laying around anyway. I have r7 radinats (almost all of them are slotted in my gear), a few black ice r7, and the rest are r5 or less.
Mybe in the future when i can afford more enchants...

You don't need to buy enchants - upgrade lower rank ones (5/6) as you pick them up. Buy Mark of Potency on AH (it's super cheap). It's way cheaper now than buying R7's on AH. I have only bought 4 R7 Radiants from AH in the time I have been playing and that was at the start. Every other one on my toons have been refined and upgraded with what I have looted during my adventures. I usually do my refining/upgrading during RP events.

I didn't know how cheap mark of potency were. Thanx.
I calced by the WB prices and it was 75k to upgrade from r5 to r7, which is more expensive than buying on the AH.
